  1. Up for sale is my Christensen Ridgeline 300winmag that I bought last year because I had so much ammo for it.  I still have the ammo, so this is a package deal.  Im selling because I already have a 300wsm and a 300 Tejas Ultramag.

The rifle is in like new condition, previous owner stated that it had been fired less than 50 rounds.  I fired 10 rounds through it to scope it.  It likes the 180gr Ballistic Silvertips.  It has a Nightforce 20moa base on it. I have 20 full boxes and one partial of Winchester 180gr Ballistic Silvertips. I will not separate the ammo unless the rifle sells.  I want to sell it together, I will give it a couple of days as a package then sell it by itself.  Sorry for any confusion.

Sold.   all together, will upload pictures of the ammo when I get home.

If I decide to separate it,

I will try it on CWT for a week then its on to the World Wide Web....

  2. The ar pistol is a pistol.  Period.   I think we should support all legal forms of take, even if we don't want to hunt in that manner ourselves.   I have never hunted lion or bear with dogs, and probably won't, but I support hunting that way.  I have heard lion dog hunters complain about other hunters that legally take lions on deer or elk hunts.  It is upsetting.   Support each other's right to hunt using legal means, period.

  3. Other states do not allow optics on muzzleloaders, or in-line muzzleloaders.  Point is, your definition of a real hunter is perched on s slippery slope.  Are crossbows OK for those with medical conditions or are they out of luck too? How do compound bows with mechanical releases fit in?

  4. I have seen some really amazing sharing of resources on this site, mostly fair pricing too.  A lot of members of CWT have helped others, who due to multiple reasons, have successful hunts and or get ready for hunts.

When speaking of gouging, I don't think you can call asking a heap of cash for something that is non-essential.  During a crisis raising the cost of essential goods like water, baby formula, medical supplies, medicine, shelter...... would be considered gouging in my book.  As much as I hate seeing what is going on with ammo, unfortunately I can't seem to call it gouging.  If we quit buying from the people that are jacking the prices up, the prices will come down.  Basic economics.  I have worked in the perishable foods industry for 25+ years.  Markets find their own level.
