  1. I dont know what is coming in.  Its a crap shoot.

And the alpha mount isn't a quick mount muzzle device.   I thread it on and leave it on.   You can leave it on the rifle and move the can to another rifle with one on it already.

  2. 2 gun option

    Option A

    1 tthinder beast  1250.00

    2nd mount              150.00

    Total.                    1600.00

    Option B

    1 silencerco  harvester300.     580.00

    1 silencerco  harvester300.     580.00

2 direct thread alpha mounts. 150.00

    2 tax stamps.                              400.00

  3. Like I said in the store, look at your budget, how you want to use it, how much you shoot. I like thunder beast, and if I were a competitive shooter I'd probably shoot TB.  I'm a hunter/plinker.  I mostly shoot Silencerco.   I have suppressors from 4 other manufacturers,  1 of which is not in business anymore.  I have 6 Harvesters.  I like the weight, the brake on the end, the performance and the cost.  They are longer than I'd like, but that's my only negative. They are aluminum,  not titanium.  That's not a negative for me.

Just got off the phone with Mr. Silencer in Mesa.  They got Thunderbeast Dominus CB in stock 2 weeks ago, and Ultra 7 and Ultra 9s in on Monday......

Jasper17 walked in to buy it 10 minutes after you bought it.

  5. When I was on active duty back at Offut, a guy I worked with was on the AF Rifle Team and always made fun of my crappy Ruger 77 25-06.  Every deer I shot with it was a one and done. He said he would never shoot a Ruger.  Only Remington 700s for this guy.

This was back in 96.  He had loaded a bunch of 6.5-06 that were too hot.  They were either blowing up prior to hitting the target or just not doing any obvious fatal damage to the Nebraska Whitetail population.  He called me up, knowing I had filled my 5 tags (1 buck and 4 does.  you could buy 2 doe tags, they were buy one get a bonus tag, hence 4 does)  and asked to borrow my rifle.  He didn't have time to load any new ammo cause the season was closing in a couple days.  Sadly I reminded him of his aversion to my crappy Ruger and let him try to figure it out on his own.

same guy ridiculed my Bushnell Yardage pro 400, telling me that nobody needed a range finder out to 400 yards, then asked to borrow it.

Moral of the story, don't make fun of someone's stuff then ask for help in a time of need.  My 6.5CM (aka Bitch Biscuit) has taken 7 game animals this fall, one by me and the rest by nephews, nieces and a friend.  All one and done.

Somehow people hear 6.5 and then it’s automatically a Creedmoor.  Makes no sense to me, but that’s what some think.  I’ve told people about my 6.5-284 and they still hear 6.5 Creedmoor, wtf?  I was at the range shooting my suppressed 6mm Creed when a guy asked what I was shooting.  I told him a 6 Creedmoor and somehow his response was” Oh a 6.5 Creedmoor, cool man.  Given what the 6.5 man bun has turned into I am embarrassed to call it a Creedmoor and I just make up names for my 6Creed. Like a 6mm Peterson, or 6CR.  Easier that way.

Do you have a man bun? If so he made an honest mistake.

Honestly a friend told me to go to the classified section here to search for ammo and it paid off. Pics will follow after the trip. I am not a trophy hunter, just a guy who loves to teach the next generation. Taught hundreds of kids to fish through a club I ran and helped a dozen or so kids in the last three years harvest their first animal. I have only hunted about 6 years myself but have been blessed with great teachers. It was not meant to be a hit and run but most chat boards tend to have very combative members I don’t have time for lol. It is different if you know them I guess. I have to laugh at the corn bagger phrase I saw. I joked with my buddy in Texas about that because we have been hunting areas most don’t want to. Big country. He said that when in Rome do what the Romans do. Well we have hunted hard and earned the right to sit corn once lol

Here it is mostly out of good fun.  We all have our specific likes and dislikes, but most will go out of their way to help.  I have had many face to face transactions on here and have yet to get burned.  This year I know of multiple hunts that have been saved due to sharing of ammunition and reloading components. Again, good luck and kill some big Texas deer and hogs.  Cant wait to see pics.
