    Auto paint??

Mine is Green. The rest of the paint is good. No rust anywhere. Has a Raven shell that I also bought in '94, painted to match the truck.

    Auto paint??

I need the same thing done on my 1994 Toyota truck. Hood, roof......plus the fiberglass shell. If someone on CWT does auto painting, I would rather give them the business. I'm the original owner, just never wash or wax the truck much.

    Non-Fried Squirrel Recipes?

Quarter squirrels. Brown in olive oil and garlic. Then add to a crock pot and simmer with onions and some water. Cook for a few hours. Then add carrots and celery for the last hour. Falls off the bone and very tasty. Never heard of eating the brains, but I have heard of eating the cheeks. Never tried the cheeks. i always try for a head shot and the cheeks are often shot.

    Alaska moose hunt

Moose meat is one of the best. I brought back 300 pounds from my moose. It took my friend and I 21 hours to debone, butcher and wrap. I did leave some meat with him and another local.

    Yogi Berra RIP

RIP - One of my favorite Yogi quotes........"Baseball is 90% mental. The other half is physical."
  9. Beautiful buck.......I wish every hunter gave thanks when he or she is fortunate enough to harvest an animal. In today's messed up world, it's nice to see someone with a solid set of values.

    Unit 1 Bull tag filled

This one will get a Euro mount and go on the porch. The picture does well for him, but he is not that big...maybe 300. Looks bigger than 300 - Congratulations on a great bull. And I agree on being able to pack out elk in my 70s - hoping for the best.

    Alaska moose hunt

Great hunt. Congratulations on a DIY moose hunt. I have done it and you are 100% correct - the weather can be nasty and the work begins after the shot. It is hard to believe how big these bulls can get. Do you know if you were in an area that allowed wolf hunting. Given the opportunity, I think most natives would shoot any wolf they could. Just curious..........why do you guys add fat to each portion before you freeze it? I always try to trim as much fat away from all of my cuts. It seems like fat is the fist thing to go rancid after 6 or 7 months in the freezer.

    2015 Opening Day Success

Congrats on a very nice bull. Tough packs out always seem to make the meat taste better.

    Blaze Orange...yes or no?

On late rifle elk hunts I have always had on some red or orange. Generally, I carry a pack that is red and brown. I feel safer, as I have spent many elk hunts still hunting through the pines. Even on mule deer hunts in the pines, I think orange/red is a good idea. On whitetail hunts, where most hunters are glassing, I wear camo. The orange camo is a great option for both adults and kids.

    Shadows of the Yukon

Nice - I can't wait to get back to Alaska. I spent some time along the Andreafski River and on the Yukon.

WTS Specialized Rock Hopper Mountain Bike

I have never seen frame sizes in XL. Usually, they are either inches or cm. My current bike has a 19 inch frame. It has been years since I have looked at Mt. Bikes, so maybe sizing designations have changed.

    Dog owners

Five year old Yellow lab, 70 pounds. We feed her just under 1 cup, three times a day. She has been getting Taste of the Wild, Sierra Mountain with roasted lamb. Her coat is by far the nicest of all the dogs I know. Very shiny and no smell at all, never. Cost is $50 per 30 pound bag. We fed her Natural Balance for about 3 years. It was a very good product, less expensive. But, when Dick Van Patten sold it to Del Monte, the food was no longer made in the USA and the formula changed. It smelled awful, so we made the change to Taste of the Wild.

    BLACKBERRIES ripe yet???

We were just north of Payson on Thursday. They aren't ripe yet. Some bushes had a few ripe ones, most were still green or slightly red. I picked about 20 of them and less than half were sweet. I thought more would be ready. I would say 2 more weeks.

    Free dog

This was a great story, but I got lost a little bit towards the end. Does the puppy still need a home? If so, is she still up here in the Valley or back down south?
