Good Luck! Enjoy Montana -
Dont let them bother you Jim, It seems on all these forums there are a few who like to run down the success of others. They are not worth the time of day!

Very cool article! Enjoyed reading it.. -
Desertbull is right on. The proper fix would be to shoot left handed. I am Left handed and left eye Dominant. When I started my Daugther hunting I found out she was Left eye Dominant. She is right handed. I started her shooting Left handed and she picked it right up and shoots very well.

Bowsniper, I got your PM. Here are the pictures you wanted to see. This is a Buck my son shot and Mark Plunkett Mounted it. I agree with you that Mark has been my Favorite and one of the best in the state. He has done all of my mounts for years. Because Mark has slowed down on taking in work and his turnaround time has become too long I begin looking around last year at new Taxidermists and decided to take my Buck I shot last year to Steve at Signature Taxidermy in Flagstaff. He did a excellent job on my custom mount. I have read some of the Negative reports on this forum and through other folks that I know but I can only speak of my one experiance with Steve and he did a great job on my mount. Here are the Two bucks togather. I have continued to look around at different Taxidermist and I am very impressed with all the reports I have heard and the work I have seen from Chris Harlow in Tucson. In the Future I am going to start taking my work to Chris. I am also very impressed with the Mount Coosefan just got from GTT. I dont think you could get a better job than that. That is my .02$ Hope it helps!

Stonebridge Ranch was my assigned Ranch for Antelope. This Ranch is about 15 miles from Roswell. Has anyone hunted this or heard of this Ranch?

New Mexico Antelope Assignment
Hunterdan replied to Hunterdan's topic in Coues Deer Hunting in New Mexico
Thanks AZ Griz and hunter4life for the response. According to the Map the Ranch is located Southeast of Roswell by the Bottomless lakes park and wetlands wildlife refuge. MapQuest shows the Ranch being about 15 miles from town. I have tryed to call the Rancher several times since I got the assignment but he has not been in. He might be out of town right now. Also hunter4life, the ranch has a total of 9,499 Acres. Thanks! -
Many Years ago there actually was a small herd of Coues in the southern part of the Bradshaws. Game and Fish used to have an antlered whitetail hunt in 20B. I believe it was around 5 tags. That hunt has long went away as well as the coues deer. Over the years I have still heard of occassional sitings of Coues Deer in 20B and 20C. But I would not count on seeing one.
