  1. Very cool hope to to that some day. By the way I noticed your dad the beetle man Mitch. Does a great job on the skulls.

how did you guys come across the fox? Trap, calling or just spotting them.

We were deer hunting, but we knew there were a lot in the area. Just spotted them running around the hills..

  2. A lot of people here seem to have an interest in the Alaskan Sitka Blacktails, so I though I'd post some pics from my rifle hunt a few years ago on Afognak Island (neighbor of Kodiak) My dad and I went up there for 4 days, had some rough weather, but made it happen on two decent bucks for our first time. Whales, deer, brown bears, waterfowl... What a trip! MY buck is the bigger one..

  3. The EASIEST and most EFFECTIVE in my opinion is put it in the freezer ASAP. When it's froze solid, ship it overnight to a taxidermist that has a freeze-dry machine. They freeze dry it for 30-80 dollars and send it back to you. Preserved! No liquids, cutting, injecting, etc.. I know of a few of them if you need some references.

  4. Well those Over-The-Counter hunts aren't a waste of time after all! I know Timberland Outfitters on here guides for them.. Hope we didn't take one of 'his' bulls!

Good luck to all hunting this season!
