The Dos Cabezas are in 30A not in 30B. The Dragoons and the Mule Mountains are in 30B. Wow, someone told me to check that out. I guess I should have checked where it was before I started asking about it! Thanks!

I believe today was opening day for the junior elk hunts? The youngest of the 3 shot a cow this morning. Thats a lot of meat in the freezer.

I have the same tag, Im trying to find out more about the dos cabezas area. Someone put a post saying that many years ago their grandpa shot a buck that scored around 140 to 150 there.

Why? Not knowing what type of snake and having kids that play there. I really dont like snakes.

There dad was telling them earlier this year that they were going to have to start packing the deer out, guess they had no choice! 3 good size coues and 4 people 3 of them being kids. Thats a pack out thats worth it though!

I would think so, bigger bucks tend to move to locations with a lot of does. Keep the cam up and see if you find any bucks alone in the area, they will find the does.
