I leave Thursday morning. I have all my stuff ready to go. It is kind of difficult to get to sleep at night. So I have been putting a few beers down before I go to sleep. So far it has worked. My plan is to go out tonight and Wednesday. The hunt will be here before I know it. Good luck to everyone.

What photo are we talking about?

I was with my two brother and we went out opening moring. After the moring hunt I hiked back to the truck. My other brother was about ten minutes behind me. So we just hung out and waited for my last brother. Waited and waited, finally he makes it back to the truck. So we say to him where were you did you get a shot. He didn't say anything, all he did was lift up his left pant leg. We instanly noticed he had only 1/4 of his sock left. I guess he was out there and just couldn't get back. Hunting tip from last year if you don't have any TP you can always cut off part of your sock to stay dry and fresh.

I don't see why we have to give something like 100 million to Africa to help preserve these animals when we can bring them here spend the same amount of money to do the job right. Where does all that money go after we give it to them. I bet only a 1/4 of it makes it to the animals. I don't know about having these animals all over the us but in a controled envioment what could go wrong. The goal would be to preserve the animals. Why do we have all our eggs in one basket. Because when they are gone they are gone.

Can you scan those pictures. I would really like to see them. One more thing if you have all those bears and lions around your hunting spot, how many deer could there be. Remember lions kill a deer a week if they are lucky. Over the summer that lion could of killed 12 deer. That has to hurt your chance of seeing them. I don't know I just want to see those pic.

I have it the worst. I will be hunting archery next weekend. That is it. No tags this year. I might focus on mountain lion and Bear this year since I have nothing else to do. Good luck to everyone.

What is wrong with this woman?

I have been out a few times. Spending most of my time looking for new spots. The way I see it the more good spots you have the better. I don't have to spend too much time in some areas because the hunting is always good. But you never know what will happen come archery season. So I scout for new areas rather than going to the same one over and over.

You are right again Mike. I forgot about 45. But I think the secret is out on 45. That is all we have been talking about all summer. Everyone on this web site is going to be there. I would think twice about going to 22. I might have to go and join you down in 45.

I didn't get drawn so I will be out just about every weekend of archery, unless I nail one. I kind of want to hold off until the last week. With any luck they won't have the velvet the last week. But either way I will shoot any monster I see. I will be in southern Az.

Most of us remember when 23 was good, but that was about 10 years ago. It has just been hunted too much and the deer populations have been at an all time low. Just about the only thing you can find there now is rattle snakes. I would hunt somewhere else. '' I would try hunting in unit 22, there are much more deer in and around there. That is where I am going....

Where was that Bull killed?

Last year I had a shot at a buck on the last weekend of the archery hunt. He didn't have one pice of velvet. The buck next to him, had a little bite.

I think we all feel the same way. I am just trying to come to a logical conclusion as to why he did it. That was the only thing I could think of. I don't feel sorry for him. He was the one whole broke the law, and now he should pay for it. The fact remains he should not have broken the law. I don't and that is why I still can hunt. I remember our game and fish instructor for the hunter safty class saying '' hunting is a privilege not a right'' I still belive that.

I know it is wrong. I would say everyone on this site thinks it is wrong. But I am not shock when someone tells me some guy got busted for shooting game without a tag. The only reason we have great hunting is because the game is managed. Without the draw the hunting would be so bad. So you love the draw but at the same time you hate it. But people get pissed off and sooner or later they just don't care. This guy does what he does for what ever reasons. It is too bad we have hunters like that. We have it hard enough with all the tree hugers, and other organizations. We don't need some dumb butt making us look bad.

Can you blame him. How often do you get drawn. I love to hunt and it seems I don't get to do it very often. I have been hunting for 12 years. In total the game and fish has given me one bull elk tag and two deer tags. Three tags in twelve years....come on. But I don't think this guy is mad he doesn't get drawn. I also don't know how he always gets caught. How difficult could it be to shoot an animal take it home. I would never do it, because I don't want the black mark next to my name. Lets just say for the disscusion of it, who hear thinks they could pull it off if they wanted to. I am not saying anyone does but could you and how.

I plan on setting up in my best spot Friday morning. If I don't see anything I will go and check out a few other spots. Friday night I will be set up on the same spot. The deer graise and sleep in my best spot so it is just a matter of time and size.

I like the placement of the camera. It looks like a pretty good trail. Nice buck, I don't think he will get over 80 inches. Ethier way a nice buck for the most part.

Lets just flood thier phone line this week to see if they like it.

I would take James Headfield of Metalica. I guess in a way I take him on every trip. I listen to Metalica almost the whole time on just about every hunt.
