Go to or call ROSS outdoors. 59th Ave and Van Buren. I believe they rent them out. I know you can put down a deposit and make payments on them and you get to take them home.

Didn't have time to look thru all the other guesses but I'm gonna say 7/19 @ bout 1019 am. Good luck on the dray to everyone -
I haven't hunted that area as it's new for the limited op hunt. I did the round valley limited op hunt a few times. The FS roads are always locked but the game warden will open them for the hunt (at least they did for the round valley hunt). If you can hike in on those roads pre season you'll have a better idea of what you'll be looking at during the hunt. I know the last time I did that hunt they didn't open the gates until later opening morning so don't worry if they're not open 1st thing. Also if you get an elk down somewhere in there thats tough to get to and there are locked gates for FS roads you can call the game warden and they'll let you in as well. Those hunts are tough, have very limited access and require a lot of hiking. Good luck

WALLY WORLD DOESN'T CARRY THEM. THEY'RE A YAMAMOTTO CUSTOM BAIT. IT'S A STICK BAIT. GO TO FISHERMANS CHOICE, CABELAS, SPORTSMANS, OR BPS. THEY WORK GREAT ESPECIALLY RIGHT NOW! USE THE 5 INCH AND FISH THEM WEIGHTLESS

Nice bear man! Congratulations!

Well how'd you guys do? It was a tough hunt but my wife finally got one on Sat evening off of a water tank. First elk we seen in 7 days of hunting. Guess that's why they call it a limited opportunity hunt. It was definately that.

27 boats for short notice isn't a bad turnout. Wanted to go but my wifes elk hunt started that Friday. When's the next one? Don't wait til next year

You know he had to changes his pants after that

My wife has that same hunt for the fist time and I don't know the area so I wouldn't be much help. We've been out there a couple of times scouting and have found some good water but now with all this rain that may not be the best bet. We'll probly try that first anyways if it dries out a bit. Hoping they'll still come in. If not we'll be hitting the hills around there where we've seen them. Good luck and let me know how you do.

I got a small bull and a cow on a trail cam doing the same thing not too long ago.

Not too hot. Just do a night tourny at Rosey. Say 5pm to 1am and then bunch of people can camp out afterwords. The fishing at Carlos hasn't been good from what I've heard

dang nice buck!

I believe that area is closed any other time. Even if you have a small game permit or fishing permit or whatever. Best to check with them because I can assure you you don't want to get busted on the res Ok I stand corrected. I didn't realize there was an East end raghorn hunt. Those units wouldn't be closed if you got a small game permit. It's the west end units 9 & 11 that are closed where the burn area is.

It's a tough hunt. You get the burn area just south of the rim. You can't scout except like 2 days before your hunt and you have to pay for a permit for the 2 days so it makes it a little tougher. To answer your question, is it worth it, absolutely. Any chance to get out and chase some elk. It's not all that expensive either.

You're the 3rd person to say that so I've named that deer Sid. I believe that's his name in the movie. I have probly 60 pics of him. He's a little guy

Great pic of 2 elk fighting. One was a small bull and the other a cow. Also a curious deer and a fairly fresh drop. The calf looks like it can barely stand. Enjoy

I get the same thing on my camera. I'm sure they can hear it going off and get curious. I have several pics just like those. I'm sure it'll be getting ripped of by a bull as soon as they start shedding.
