I'm in with a GEN.

I grew up in the South, still hunt there every year, and own several different types of stands. Your biggest decision should be where you will use it. If I am packing in a ways, or, am in mountainous or thick terrain, I'll use my Lone Wolf Hand Climber, which is compact and 14 lbs. That being said, you still have to be in an area that grows high canopy trees(no low limbs). Some Summit stands also weigh about 14 lbs, but they are not as compact as my Lone Wolf. For trees with low limbs, the hang on and climbing sticks are preferred, and I have Lone Wolf sticks for that. For comfort, and where you don't have to pack far, and weight and bulk are not considerations, I like my Summit Viper.

For some of us not in the big cities, their the only show in town. Not for credit cards

I thought the mounts looked exceptional. I think the Javelina would have looked better had the teeth not been dipped, painted, or whatever was done.

I'll have to try that Circle. I've used the Primos last weekend and today, when I knew pigs were withing 100 yards, to no avail. I I did harvest one today, but no credit to the call.

I don't remember the last time I have hunted on public property and have not seen cattle, which, is about as agricultural as it gets in Arizona(I don't think they are talking dairy farms). Until I find a spot that the deer are not competing with cattle for browse and water, baiting will remain "legal".

As info not all of us have alot of money to invest in a cam and put outdoors for someone to possibly steal. I have a Tasco and it takes great pics. Maybe it is cheaper than other cams but it works for some of us! tcam3 Aug 16 2012 049.jpg I did'nt say anything about the picture quality. The original poster's qoute was " The items are somewhat pricey". Somewhat pricey is usally not assosciated with Tasco, I can't afford a BMW, but i don't get offended and say my Ford is just as good as a BMW. -

Nice of you to try to return items, but as info, Tasco is about as cheap as it gets. -
they know that most baiting is done by bowhunters and they don't like bowhunters

Is that taxi in Payson? -
I just hope some bucks are left. I took a drive last weekend and would have never thought I would see so many rifle hunters out there.

That's was my first thought?

this would probably be the 3rd rut, assuming the first was in Sept, and if cows did not conceive then, cylced again in about 28 days, and if they did not conceive in OCT, cycled again in NOV.

If that is the case, they are increasing tag numbers before comparing results of baiting or not baiting, (if there is any). In other words, getting the cart before the horse. Like you said, gov't logic.

For a college student, his spelling and grammar is definitely worse than a fifth grader.

Yes, exclusivity agreement means you don't post pictures or story. It does not mean you lose all decency and courtesy of not responding, and explaining your reason for seeking advice and rudely refusing to acknowledge.

Anyone else not received AZ refunds yet? Seems like some got theirs over a week ago.

I've never seen the justification for spending money on one, plus losing storage space, when my bow is properly tuned, and my broadheads and field points fly and hit the same.

Thanks for sharing. I would also suggest talking to the manufacturer for PR.

Just so everyone knows the Game and Fish has been working hard with the FS to look at this whole access issue. We have had quite a few meetings and things are definately looking positive for being able to get back into the forest. Some of the flooding concerns are coming to pass as most of the forest roads have already washed out to some extent. For instance where hannagan creek hits the 26 road it has already flooded about to windshield height. Hwy 191 is already undercutting along hannagan creek and may wash out completely with a good storm. The 24 road is about gone from Bear creek around to the 576, at least where all the drainages cross. Anyway, I don't want to post too much at this point as alot of the access we are working on is preliminary and things could change drastically with one good storm. I will be doing a presentation at the AES hunter clinic on the 30th if anyone is interested in some more info. I will hopefully have some more info myself by then and I will have maps and pics that we can go over. All I ask is patience as this thing is ugly now and may get uglier by the end of the monsoon. Aaron Aaron, Thanks for the effort to get the tagholders in the unit. Your updates are appreciated.
