This pack is in like new condition. Great deal for someone!

My father in law is looking to sell his Outdoorsmans, I will try to find out what he is asking for it if you are interested.

I was in the same boat as you are Cody. I wanted to put together a inexpensive rifle that could shoot distance and was accurate. I did a lot of research and decided to go with the Ruger American Predator in 6.5 Creedmoor. It isn't as sexy as a custom built rifle, but I am a bowhunter 99% of the time. I have under $1000 into the gun, it shoots 5 shot 1 hole groups at 100 yds, and I was hitting 12" rocks at 700 yds the other day. Just another option for you to look into they also make it in .308.

The Alaska Guide Creations harness is the best one I have ever used. Jaret Owens is a great hunter, guide, and person. He is constantly working to make his packs better. When I called him the other day he was on a 2 mile hike with his 92 year old Dad, testing out new pack designs. I have owned the Badlands and the S4 and the ACG is hands down the best design out of any of those.

Compact Rifle . . .Which one?
outdoor rush replied to Flatlander's topic in Rifle hunting for Coues Deer
I really like it. It is a LOT better than the Viper I had and is more clear and brighter than the Viper HS LR my girl has on her 7 mm. It is a little on the heavy side, but other than that I am very happy with it. -

I just picked up a Ruger American Predator in 6.5 Creedmoor and so far I am super impressed! Out of the box it has been much more accurate then my old 700 adl. So my vote would be for the Ruger. -

I was wondering if anyone had any pet loads for the 6.5 Creedmoor with the Berger 140 gr VLDs? Thank you -

DirtNap Gear D.R.T.s! Great heads, accurate, and tough. They have a lifetime warranty and are ran by awesome people! -
I didn't see anything. I think the herd crossed the road into 37a and haven't came back over yet. I have only seen two does so far this season. 37b is kicking my butt so tomorrow I am heading down to 33 to try my luck.
-
I'll be down off 96 trying to find a herd in the flats. The wind has been horrible lately and i'm hoping the herd moves back into there wash after being spooked opening week. I'll be in a very muddy white dodge with a bunch of stickers on the back. Good luck!
-
Awesome job! We tracked some herds but never could get on them. Snow screwed up my pig spots in 37b today hopefully tomorrow will be better!
-
How did you do today?
-
The guy we used for my dad's Ohio buck guarantees 3 months or less on a shoulder mount. And others will do it in two for $300 and the mounts are amazing! I never understood why it took so long out here.

4a-4b first turkey hunt, and 33-37b archery stink pig!

This is crap! We have to abide by their dates they put forth for the deadline dates, but they don't have to abide by their own dates to release the results and mail out tags? And these are the people who regulate our animal herds? Pathetic! But nothing will change until us as hunters stand as one and demand a change!

I went and checked this bow out today, and all I can say is harsh! It felt like the draw stacked like a recurve and my shoulder was sore after drawing it back a couple times. It really reminded me of the old school wheelie bows. I have never been a Mathews fan but their draw has always been smooth, this bow is the exception. These are just my opinions though.

I am selling my Hoyt Alphamaxx 35 60-70# and 28" draw. The bow comes with LimbDriver rest, HHA single pin sight and custom 60x strings. The bow is in Realtree camo. Looking to get $350 for the whole set-up. I will get pictures up later today. Thank you for looking!
-
Yeah I would sell the bare bow. The bow has solid orange strings on it now.
-
We got hit for Javelina and Turkey just now.
-
It is the heaviest bow released so far this year. And after seeing some data on it people are only getting in the mid 200's for speed with a hunting setup. For $1100-$1800 I don't understand it. Mathews laid off 35 people last month maybe they knew something before they released this thing.

Opening morning success for my girlfriends Dad! He has been hunting for many years and taken a lot of game but this is his first Coues deer! Hunted all morning and saw 9 muley does, 3 coues does, a herd of javelina, 2 hunters take coues bucks, and I finally glassed this buck tucked into a tree 300 yards below us. I didn't tell him about big it was, just told him to get his gun, showed him where it was and he made a perfect shot! Hopefully Kimberly and I converted him into a coues deer hunter from here on! Not real sure what it's going to go probably around 90".
