I am interested, where do you live?

I have heard alot of complaints about Rio, but I have always had a positive experience there. I shoot Tuesday Night Steel almost every week. Great bunch of guys and gals there. I haven't done the sillouette lately or the 500 prone, but will start up after the elk season. By the way, was helping my frined's son on a youth hunt and he bagged a nice cow at 421 yards with my 7mm, sighted in at Rio. I guess if you have the punches to use the other ranges it is not as bad as the main range. I used the main range a month ago and it was a bummer that we could no longer set up at the 300 yard mark. Like I said before, only positive experiences at Rio.

The Tonto Forest, just north and a tad west of Mesa. Alot of spots and alot of hunters and alot of dove.

Measuring is quite ease. All you need is a flexible metal cable ( When I did my sons, I used the inside cable from a bicycle brake) and a ruller. Heck, nowdays you don't even need to think. Go the the Boone and Crocket website and they have a program that will calculate the size after you input the data. Back in the 90's I measured my sons midwest whitetail for a Pope and Young deer and came to within .5 inches of the official measurer. I scored Pope and Young 142 3/8. Do a little reading and you will see. Ron

Heck, If Jack D shows up, I'll be there. I plan to camp off road somewhere, I kinda doubt that there will be any sites left at the lake when I get in the area on Friday afternoon. I have a Dodge 3500 diesel, black, with dull rear wheels, no hubcaps. Hope I can link up with some of you guys. Ron
