It all depends on who you are I guess. I have lived in Tucson now for 15 years and still hate every summer. I love being outside but it is not enjoyable being outside when it is 100+.

I was looking at prescott, it looked really promising but then I looked up the temps and she essentially wants to be able to be outside in shorts and a tee all year round. What climate do you live in now? You won't be outside in Phx in the summer, you'll be inside in the A/C. I live in Tucson and grew up in northern AZ. I'd take a northern AZ winter over a southern AZ summer!

I think it is safe to say he has 25-30" of extras. Now it comes down to his 6x6 frame which I would guess around 320. I can't see his frame going over 330. All that and I'll say 350 gross. Would love to see this bull with another year under his belt, but 95% of elk hunter would shoot him without taking a second look.

I've been using the chargemaster for years. I love it. I recently added a gempro scale for higher precision. I set the chargemaster to dispense 0.2 below charge and then transfer over to the gempro and trickle up like Lance is doing. By the time I am done with the gempro the chargemaster has dispensed the next charge and I keep moving. Goes pretty quick.

Where the legs connect at the top and rotate to different angles, the pieces that lock the legs at the different angles are gone and now the rotation is sloppy. Hope that explanation makes sense.

For those of you who have a promaster, how are they holding up? Buddy of mine has had one for 3 years and it has lost a few pieces along the way. Promaster is unresponsive when trying to order replacement parts. My manfrotto 3001 is 12 years old and still good as new.

I have some that have trouble when humidity increases. Could be a moisture problem

Custom orthotics for me too. Make sure you wear them everyday day, regardless of the shoe and avoid flip flops or going barefoot. I really start to feel the pain if I don't wear my orthotics for a few days. Another big thing for me is staying active. If I keep my legs stretched and loose then I never have a problem. If I have a lazy week where I don't do much, then I start to feel it.

I love my kuiu super down jacket, warm, packable, and very lightweight. It is not durable, only wear it while glassing or include an outer layer over it. I wear a large shirt, got an XL jacket to make sure it would fit over layers and wouldn't want any smaller. If you wear a xxl shirt you should consider a 3xl jacket

For those of you who still have their parents around, cherish them. I lost my dad when I was 11 years old. He had already planted the seed for my love of the outdoors. My fondest memories of him are our family's times together in the mountains. Now that I'm a father, I make a point of making a trip to the mountains every Father's Day. Happy Father's Day to all the dad's out there!

The step up to swarovski is the easy answer here, but I'm with bonecollector on this one. You should really consider the swaro 15x56HD. Since you already have 10s, I'd get the 15s. If you didn't have the 10s, I'd say get the 12s.

I bet he ran into Lark on his way up the trail and Lark told him about the great fishin there. Unfortunately he couldn't understand Lark's redneck slang directions and ended up getting lost.

Go for it, it's really not that difficult. For first timers I recommend doing just the recoil lug area to start with. You can do the tang and sides later.

I'll agree with most everyone else, upgrade the 15s. If you use your 10s more then you should adjust your style to sit and glass with 15s on a tripod more often.
