6TH ANNUAL CWT.com MARSHALL LAKE GET-TOGETHER

Lance, unfortunately we have to work this Friday and wouldn't get there till everyone's asleep, and mostly cause our critter sitters went to Vermont last Sunday for couple weeks. My apoligies to you and your family for me not being better prepared for this sooner and if this has created any issue on Fridays meal. If there is someone from this site that is going up Beeline SR87 Thursday or Friday evening we could handoff some sweet corn for them to deliver for the occasion. Dan -
These bad boys are out too. In are backyard tank last weekend. It drank water for quite awhile.

Amanda, thanks for posting this article. Made me feel like I was in high school again. Az history classes shared a lot of this knowledge back in 80's, hard telling now. Amazing what a handful of people accomplished.

when does the 2012 point data come out?

Hope someone didn't start it carelessly like mentioned. But it may have started from that mini storm last week cause Friday just outside of Sunflower at Whiskey Springs there was a good haze and smelling the smoke from a fire. Probably was that one cause it's only few miles up the road. Saturday evening the smoke went from there probably all the way to Globe. Sunday it lit up bad again with the afternoon winds. This morning it was still smoldering all over and it did burned a lot of good area above Sycamore. Huge FS group were stationed rodeo grds at ft mcdowell heading up back side of Verde also.

Photos from 2nd Annual AZ AntlerFest!! AMAZING collection!
Dan H replied to CouesWhitetail's topic in Shed Hunting
Amanda, your pictures really came out great. That was by far the most amazing collection of antlers people could ever see at one time. The people and displays were all great. It was Antler Awesome!! There are some monster bucks and bulls in Arizona and when you see these collections it sure makes you really want to go shed hunting. The year after year WT and elk sheds and matching shed sets were truly amazing. I was so glad we went up there. Can you imagine the number of miles covered and the sceneries people experienced while finding all those sheds. Good times!! Wish we could have stayed and had a few cold ones with you all but had to drive you know. Thanks again for the invite, Dan and Angela- 16 replies

I been drivin past there twice a day for over 5 years and I tell you what not a lot of people going in there on foot. That has always been an awesome WT/Muley transition zone for archery hunt. I live on the other side of Mt Ord and go quadin over Reno Pass to Bushnell often and it's coming back good. For awhile before the accident a lot of fast quads were really starting to tear it up in there like Sycamore. Dan

Remember the bushnell tanks... temporary closed to vehicles.... I can't even remember what year it was... 2002 maybe and still closed. I do like what they did with bulldog canyon although plenty of people go where they are not supposed to. James JLW, I have been told Bushnell Tanks is still closed because the government is still wrapped up with the lawsuit from when the group of scouts and scout master were drowned in the creek just off the highway years ago.
