Ive been looking every day for 18 months with only a couple sightings. The 160s seem to be one of the many unicorns right now. Even some blems I saw pop up on a site were about a buck a piece instead of the 60 cents in the other flavors. Great bullet, demand is high.

1 cent, You can catch 10 rainbows there and 2 will rarely look alike. 2 cent, The walk-in area alone does not do the Ferry justice.

No worries, thanks for looking! If the price is right, and there is some compatibility I didn't know about, I may be interested in a 502 bar.

Let me know Dan, thanks. I have cash or something to trade if any MEC stuff is just laying around.

Not any time soon, thank you.

Get the best 10s you can afford on a tripod so you can keep your eyes in the glass as long as possible without discomfort or fatigue. You should be able to see button spikes at 400 yards and closer. 15s are luxury gear and lower end models provide far less value than good 10s.

First stand of the morning started before and ended during sunrise. My FoxPro stopped calling with bad rechargeables 8 minutes into the shotgun-friendly stand so I broke out a quick hand call to keep things moving. 2 coyotes snuck into 60 yards during my second breath and the lead male caught the decoy moving nowhere near the cry of my hand calling. Gone. Second rifle-friendly stand had 3 coyotes hung up and circling each other at 275 yards between the 12-15 minute mark with backup batteries. Watching comfortably, I guess jackrabbit didn't sound good for breakfast. I lined up the rifle on a broadside dog and while exhaling, noticed another pacing to the front. After the following inhale, preparation met opportunity and I squeezed it off. One dropped, another stumbled hard, and the third ran straight away. I walked up to finish the second with my 12 gauge just feet away, but consider this to be my first 2 coyote in one shot. Third stand is one of my favorites and almost always produces an opportunity. Today was no different. 5 minutes in and a single coyote was seen charging from several hundred yards away. 2 minutes later, another is walking a ridgeline again 275 yards out. I wait until it stops, shoot, it drops and when the FoxBang kicked in the pup in distress, the original coyote was facing me 10 yards behind the call. Took a frontal shot at 60 yards and another one bites the dust. Fourth and fifth stands were blanks. It was a great morning and weather to be out thinning a predator-heavy hunting ground last called 9 months ago. All coyotes were harmed with leftover 100 gr SGK deer loads from a 243 Win, which has turned out to be an incredible all-around bullet so far.

My fondest memories are growing up fishing one of our local rivers for largemouth. A couple days a week after school, when everything lined up, my Dad would drop me and a buddy off for the evening. I casted relentlessly, wading and thinking, still x fingers left 'til Dad picks us up!! I learned so much and this is an absolute favorite.

I would think .243 is plenty but whichever is more accurate and comfortable for you. Cat vitals aren't huge targets. And very early morning setup with calling before 9am is my $0.02 on timing.

I like these threads. I always learn something. Good luck OP.

Lil gun and H110 have been available at Powder Valley several times lately. H110 at PV and Brownells now. Good luck!
