Especially after watching you help trphyhntr and his pops last year, I hope this post ages well! You deserve the sheep tag!

Plywood smothered with Thompsons Water Seal holds for years, especially if you keep it covered. I had that typed before Mark chimed in, but he is spot on with that. With how much time I was putting in duck hunting in the last decade, I chose not to use carpet on my second remodel because when it started to wear after the first remodel, it left its trace on everything that touched it and eventually peeled, looked like crap, and was a nightmare to remove from the aluminum surfaces it was glued to. Now that I have kids, my deck will have carpet again next year. I have seen my buddies try foam varities and it is not for me, wears way too fast and costs way too much.

Rebuild it yourself. Everything is on YouTube and the internet. Check out TinBoats.net and duck hunting forums. It is going to take so many hours that the labor you're asking for will far exceed the value of the boat. You are going to spend a lot of time, but the reward and know-how will be worth it. You'll know the boat inside and out and get every little thing dialed in your way. I've enhanced and rebuilt both my 11ft fiberglass sneak boat and 16ft aluminum tracker several times over and they are fish catchin' and duck killin' machines that I wouldn't sell or trade for the world. My 0.02.

I'll pass for now and admit myself - there is a reason I won't trade my primer stash! It is a great powder, you'll get it traded, GL👍🏼

Good luck with the H4895 trade, interested if you end up selling. Thx.

Coconino NF to fully CLOSE Wednesday 6/23/2021
CouesPursuit replied to Red Rabbit's topic in The Campfire
Kaibab will mimic Coconino and close on Wednesday. -
Results ready. Our party of 4 got antelope buck tags and two of our guys pulled a couple doe tags each.

Thanks for the reply. I figured with "Great Buck" as an option, "SPAM!" could be too but I definitely understand.

Edit. I was trying to help poster above but likely misinterpreted he meant the .264s that were traded, good luck with the sale OP.

Showlow lake, Rainbow, Fools hallow boat ramp access
CouesPursuit replied to Adicted's topic in Fishing
Yes, Willow. The fish in that pic had a red treble hook and 2 feet of 8-10lb line with a split shot hanging out of her mouth that was removed before release. I caught another similar in size that I tried to quiety release but was swarmed by kayaks and left 20 minutes later. It made towing the boat to the weekend camping trip worth it in short order though. -
Showlow lake, Rainbow, Fools hallow boat ramp access

Yes launch at Willow with 100 kayakers, no launch available at Black Canyon. -
Showlow lake, Rainbow, Fools hallow boat ramp access

Not the lakes you mentioned but I can confirm Willow Springs is low and Black Canyon launch is way out of the water. We caught and released a couple footballs fishing big baits this past weekend. Tuned in for a Show Low family trip later in July. Thx. -
Make sure your HVAC is up to speed...

Any recommendations for service in the east valley? -
The new bill makes the process easier.

Thanks for the heads up.

Bear evolution alongside wolves and a yard full of barking dogs had the bear distracted just enough to couple with her incredibly stupid, lucky but perfect timing. I bet that one plays out bad 95 times out of 100 or worse.

Interesting comment.. I don't believe there are more than 2 millennials that have posted in this thread, if any, and the OP isn't.

There has been attempts to remove non-native fish from dozens of waterbodies in Arizona for decades and not one has been successful, but they do dent large size classes, populations and cost lots of time and money.

I have a Caldwell you could borrow in Mesa. I'll also be at Usery almost every weekend starting in a couple weeks if our visits lined up. I'm sure many others here would offer the same if you're on the other side of town. Others probably have a better chrono as well.

I share the same opinion as Millhouse above. I carry Meopta 10s in a chest harness and they shine on weight and are used for 90% of my glassing, all on a tripod unless I'm still hunting. I also have Meopta 15s and they make the pack any time I expect having to pick out bedded animals or glass a mile away. Quality 10s will decipher mature animals from not. Adding 15s help but I would never leave the truck without my 10s. I leave my 15s behind more than I like to admit. Finally, 12s and a spotter has become very appealing to me after having a trophy hunt and digiscoping and documenting animals, though I can't bring myself to sell my 10s to make that happen.

I'll take the pegs and tripod please, pm incoming.

In addition to my prospected bonus point pass on a late Coues hunt in a top tier unit. I'm (almost) speechless. Drew the 2nd tag on my 2nd choice, 41W. 9 points, I'm genuinely sorry to those guys with 25+. Clearly this was nothing more than a dream, but proof that dreams come true. From unit info to tips on just enjoying the once in a lifetime opportunity, if anyone can share anything at all, I really, really appreciate it. I look forward to sharing the journey with you.
