I'm not a water manager and do not know any allocation for this year, but currently there is 35 CFS inflow from the Gila River (0 CFS from the San Carlos River) with ~ 250 CFS discharge from the reservoir. That is a volume deficit of 426 acre-feet/day. Not factoring any changes in inflow, or the typical 700 CFS discharge increase coming in the summer months, San Carlos Reservoir would be empty in less than a year. In 2024, ~200k acre-feet was released from May - December. Currently, there is ~150k in the reservoir. Go catch some fish while you can.

This is just not true, the black stripe is a recessive gene of the same species. If you want to talk about how they use habitat and feed differently, I'm in.

Here is April 4th at Roosevelt last year. Less developed 3.5 weeks later.

Bloody veins in the egg sack are getting ripe for the spawn. They are close to spawning for March 9 and water temp only 55F. I typically see this 3-4 weeks later, maybe more. Maybe it is stable weather, maybe it is blacknose, I don't know but I'm excited for a productive spawn and hope SC holds water.

Yea a good chunk of the day looked like this. The bite was good enough for quads but I received a light dip on minnows. I normally use a two-rod double tandem but left my short rod with a single rig on Sunday.

Great day is an understatement and trphy is a top notch copilot. He was early to the ramp, brought his own minnows, and as I encountered a fuel tank connection issue right off the bat he says, "F it let's just fish right here then." Can't ask for more than that, except leaving me stranded netting triples by myself a few times lol jkjk most of time he was reeling in one for himself.

Must be somethin' in the water. I had crappie tonight too. @trphyhntr had the kind of energy that made them crappies jump right in boat.

I have a couple kids that love to ride and one has a birthday coming up. I'm looking for a used or new ATV in the 50-90cc range. Any leads or feedback on what to look for or avoid? Thank you very much!

I cleaned out some messages, thank you.

I always enjoy your posts and this just adds to the excellent collection. Congratulations to your kids and great job, Dad! -
If it is sticking from rare use, remove the panel from the rear hatch, a swift tap on the motor while someone is touching the switch usually fixes. I put the rear window through a cycle every time I refuel and it never stuck again. Glws.

You're missing out.

Should have just let Skattebo kick the 68 yarder.

Excellent! Added: I love seeing deer like this still exist and always hope their genetics were thoroughly planted. Congratulations to your son on a buck of many lifetimes.

Happy Sunday, I need a .310" Redding Type S Bushing and was curious if any store in the valley supplies these in stock? To all's benefit, which suppliers have the most components like these on their shelves? Thanks!

I know of but hadn't been in Brunos. Sounds like they are the local reloading authority without much, if any competition. Exactly what I needed, thank you both.

I don't own a trailer. Mr Buddy running low on a large tank a dangerous/bad idea? Yep!

One of my favorite lines I've read here before, nets are for fish. That is an incredible buck and I know you'll have a perfectly symmetrical 105+ next to him on the wall some day soon!

Great job dad and son!

So happy for the young man despite his tragic loss. No doubt he had some extra support on that mountain and I hope he remembers it forever. Good on you for being there and great job in the toughest of times, gentlemen!

Great deer, would love to hear the story of the deserving young man and his trophy.

Great job, sounds like a well deserved bull!
