    Where to get euro mount

Another vote for Draysen with Great Hunter Skulls. I am not advertising this on his behalf but him and his right hand man turned around an antelope skull for me in 48 hours. Top notch all around.

    Waders

I'll defer to anyone that offers a specific model, but I'll share some input. Neoprene or breathable vinyl/plastic? Neoprene will always win in cold weather and vinyl/plastic is better in warm conditions and will always remain the trend in the fly fishing world. Which will you use more often after your trip? Neoprene are great for duck hunting in the winter cold. Breathables don't compare in anything cold but layering is always a workaround. Stockingfoot or booted? I can't say one is more reliable than the other and I own both. If you are hiking any distance, stockingfoot requiring a pair of boots over the top win outright. They are typically way more comfortable. Booted are more simple but I've often been freezing with all that space. I would own 2 $100 pair with patch kits, neoprene for the truly cold and muddy environments and breathables with layers for places like 49F water at Lees Ferry with warm air temps. Sweating in neoprene sucks.

Heck Yea 2018 *New Huntress Update*

Update: Please welcome CWTs newest huntress and outdoorswoman. Baby Brooke was born August 29th at 7lbs 14oz. Momma and baby are perfect and I'm finally set to get a taste of what I have been watching so many of you enjoy over the years. The envy is waning. I again, can't wait to share our journey along the way.
  11. RL23 is a new powder that isn't listed in many books yet. The load data isnt specific to the Nosler AB but the online consensus for it matched the published data I used. H1000 has data for the Nosler Partition in 160 gr. I mentioned this in the OP and also researched the online consensus before loading. Also, I'm still completely stumped on these factory rounds! I didn't mention it yet, but this occurred in two different boxes of factory Accubonds.
  12. I have some family stuff going for a few days but I would appreciate that very much later this week. I'll send you a PM when my schedule clears. Thank you!

    Ladder Test Load development HELP!!

Dropping wisdom in many thread, I like it. I decided to reload to make that difference at 400-500 yards, it sure wasn't to save any money.
  17. Yes it is and I don't believe that's an issue. My poor headspace measurement earlier in the thread was because of the extruding primer. Once I popped it out, I am only getting .001" growth on the fired case after neck sizing. The 2.119" of the reloads match the factory brass as well. I'm not sure how to be certain without the Go/NoGo gauge but it appears to be in spec. This rifle has several hundred rounds through it and the brass today matches this case from my elk in 2010.
  18. There is .003 difference. I have only neck sized this brass and it is 3x fired. I haven't had a problem chambering any rounds. I was going to bump the shoulder back after another firing or two.
  19. Not always Nosler. In my first post, I have a factory Nosler cartridge that pushed a 168gr LRAB without issue and my reloads that had pressure signs at starting charge weights of RL23 and H1000 both were using Hornady brass. Thanks for the thought.
  20. Bringing this one back to the top. After using factory Winchester ammo I had laying around on my WY antelope hunt last fall, my rifle was thoroughly cleaned and put in the safe. I went shooting on Saturday for the first time since. With no real answer to my reloads causing the problems, I started shooting several of the same factory Winchesters with no issue. I then shot 2 Nosler Accubonds and had high pressure problems in both with difficult bolt lift, an ejector mark, and cratered primer on the first and worse bolt lift, ejector mark, and the primer completely blowing out on the second (and last)! I ended with another Winchester with no pressure problem. The headspace on all of the unfired cartridges is not extreme and matches on all fired brass, growing less than 0.01". The Noslers have a shorter CBTO than the Winchesters and are nowhere near the lands. I'm at a point where I'm going to sell anything I have in the 160gr Accubond and move on, but does anyone have any experience with a rifle hating a particular bullet or other insight? To recap, my rifle has never produced a major pressure problem on anything reloaded or factory other than when firing a 160gr Nosler AB, and every time that bullet has passed through my rifle (reloaded at starting charge weights of RL23 and H1000 or from the factory) it has caused significant pressure.
