Looks like a summer trip may be in order. I've waited this long because know I'm going to be hooked.

OP - In addition to the recommendations above, see if you can talk to any golf course managers about fishing in the ponds after hours with your kid, it may be a long shot but many GC ponds have starving bass that eat anything thrown at them. You have had it explained to you in the Alamo is Dropping thread before but let's clarify again - SRP doesn't own the water, they manage and deliver it to internal and external shareholders based on a variety of factors that go far beyond explanation in this thread. SRP doesn't own the dams, the USBR does.

First thing I thought of when people are asking around, "what is the real difference between RTIC and YETI other than 50% in price?"

It's been a great year so far, and the crappie are in full swing, especially with this warm and steady swath of weather coming. All major crappie lakes (Roosevelt, Alamo, San Carlos, Bartlett and Pleasant) have been producing either from personal experience or through pictures and reports from some close friends of mine. This is a great time of year to get first timers and the kids involved! I had the pleasure of having three buddies and three 4-6 year old boys on my boat these last 2 weekends. The boys all landed and netted their own fish by the end of each morning. The freezer is stocked and we have a few more fisherman dreaming among us. Tight lines.

Big Thanks To CWT Members - Youth Euro Business Update
CouesPursuit replied to rossislider's topic in Taxidermy
I enjoyed doing business with Draysen and his 20+hr week employee. I had an amazing turnaround time on my antelope euro at a great price. Awesome to see the follow up and best of luck as he continues to grow his business. -
I currently run a Honda 4x4 ATV in the back of a first generation 4x4 Tundra. There are very few places I can't (or won't) go and I really enjoy my setup. No trailer, no BS. As my family grows, I will have to decide what direction to take next. I can't imagine getting rid of either vehicle above so I will be following threads like these for advice and logic. It is difficult to justify the 12-18-25k price tags on newer side by sides but it's also difficult to compromise on speed and time front point A to point B, which is the only major factor I haven't seen considered yet in this post, and where UTVs really shine. They are fast, comfortable, can go nearly anywhere, and take a beating. The most important factor will come down to exactly how and how often the machine will be used.

Back on topic with good news, the ACOE looks like they are following their schedule and the main valve was able to shut after decades of not using it. The "worst" is over, and as long as they don't turn it back up, they might be releasing less than anticipated from here on out. Planned: Actual @ 05:30 MST 03-16-2018

You mean the new growth doesn't just fill right back up for profit?

Lol, such a simple outlook from the guy with messed up fishing tomorrow due to a little front and that thought Alamo just had 1-2 pound fish 2 days ago. Troll on buddy, I know I will be again soon.
