What's Your One Indispensable Exercise
CouesPursuit replied to Healy Arms's topic in Hunting Fitness
If only time allowed...Silly one word answer, but it truly is indispensable. Nothing has made my heart beat like a tough hunt, and all of what goes into it is one of my forms of exercise when I talk to the Doc. -

Hunting. -
Interested in the tree stand for a buddy, location please? Thanks!

I'm a fan of stockingfoot over booted waders for all day comfort. I own a pair of neoprene for duck hunting and a pair of breathable GORE-TEX waders for fishing. If it's really cold the neoprene are nice, if it's ambient warm the breathable are a must. You can also layer underneath breathables.

H4831 regular or SC? Does the SC make that big of a difference in most people experience? Thanks. -
Crappie and walleye are both pretty equal, but if you put crappie, walleye, and yellow perch on a plate I'll go for the perch. Who ruined roosey? I second they are relatively equal, especially in cold water. I couldn't choose one. Also very curious who "they" is that ruined Roosevelt.

Amazon Prime members can upload photos to the Prime Photos app/Amazon cloud for free. I uploaded the photos on my phone several months ago as a backup, but found a benefit that may be of interest to the CWT community, especially if you already have Prime. The App has an option to share "This day in xxxx" year. I have a lot of fun sharing hunting and fishing photos with my friends as they pop up frequently, but what has been even more interesting to me lately is the trail camera photos coming in. Even though they were uploaded in bulk, the timestamps are honored and I get to watch what happened at each of my cameras day by day. I've watched this bull and a couple other bucks grow in time and it's been fascinating. Hope someone else enjoys or will consider enjoying the benefit as well!

Speechlessly (nearly) agree. Amazing what posting a picture will do nowadays.

Will You Match Bass Pro's Handgun Sale Price? It'll be an increase, but yes...
CouesPursuit replied to Healy Arms's topic in The Campfire
Mark did a price match for me because we didn't want to buy mom's pistol from the big store. Mark only had to shave $10 off his everyday retail to match the big store's sale price. Thanks again, Mark! -
Wow excellent deal for someone!

No problem. I'll save a predator skull or two to send his way and just tip him then! Hopefully I can run into a few different specimens before his prices get too high!! -

AZ Game and Fish's Fish Stocking Schedule Questions
CouesPursuit replied to Rag Horn's topic in Fishing
Caught 12 fish in 2 hours after work yesterday. One LMB pushed 8 pounds on a crank and I caught a 8+ pound flathead drop shotting. Odd water color and a noticeable shad die off through the first half of the lake but it is absolutely great fishing right now. -

+$20, awesome work guys. -
Figured I would see if anyone had a large anchor in the valley that they would be willing to part with for a good price before I buy retail. 15 pound minimum - I've already got a fluke so I'm looking for a second alternative, river or richter preferably, but open to what's available. Thanks for looking.
-
I am officially set on an anchor thanks to another great CWT member. Thanks to all for the input and offers.
-
Current fluke is 13lb. Another member and I are negotiating a trade for a nice setup that was more than what I was looking for but tough to pass up. Pending this other deal, and if it is indeed a 20 #, I would be interested. Please let me know. Thank you!
-
Thank you for the suggestion. This is for Lees Ferry, bucket of concrete anywhere in the 15-20# range will jump the river rocks too easy.
-
I shoot this bow in the 29" 60# variety and it absolutely blows 450 grain arrows through deer and pigs. Good luck with the sale. This arrow was > 10" deep in the dirt after passing through my last buck.
-
I'll also add fresh and appropriate sized line will do wonders for casting distance and eliminating other frustrations.
-
I like the worm and bobber advice above better, but consider hotdogs and whiskers to be a neat experience for a youngin as well.

Easy answer, 4" zoom pumpkinseed lizards, chartreuse tail only if I'm feeling crazy. The next best is an all black hellgrammite. Enjoy!
