Waterfowl Gun for next year
CouesPursuit replied to Havasuhunter's topic in Small Game, Upland Bird, and Waterfowl Hunting
In a similar situation, I went with the Franchi Affinity last year from an 870. I am very happy with it. Quick and easy to clean, spits out anything I put in it, not a Benelli but half the price and nearly all the gun, arguably. Give it a serious consideration if you liked your SBE II. -
$80 for this prep station is a SWEEEET deal. If anyone is using the hand tools to chamfer and clean primer pockets... Do yourself a favor!!

The Dinky Deer Thread - Let's see the SMALLEST one you've got???
CouesPursuit replied to mattys281's topic in The Campfire
I ate many archery tags before finally getting caught up in the middle of a fork, a spike and a doe mule deer. I pursued the fork in the direction he fed, keeping the wind in favor thinking he would feed back to the doe. Instead, the spike and doe eventually worked their way back across me on their way to the fork. The spike stopped broadside, and I remember thinking, "No way, there is a deer in front of me at 41 yards, without a tree in the way!?" I'll never forget that first smack of an arrow, and watching the fork bounce over the hill, followed by the doe, and nothing else. -
One of the two would edge out with "that look." No preference here but cool question.

There is some good stuff in there, good luck with the deal.

Labs rule. Just put them to work, and teach them how to help you.

Best of luck to the guy that has helped more elk hunters in the last few years than anyone around. Hope you get a good deal here, Flatlander!

My goodness this makes me excited to get my coues back from Clay in a couple more months, thanks for sharing and congrats to your wife on the great Axis buck!

Fantastic job!! Congrats, Kaleigh and dad!

Mine too. Awesome, same as above, thanks DB!

What are you wheel bow hunters shooting for arrows weights and what is your field experience with its adjustment effecting velocity and penetration? Do your broadheads change your set up?

Until the cycle there is another check/balance in place and it throws you out of the draw. They may not now, but there's no reason they can't track statistics on % of valid licenses and duplicates, lost money makes change. Not saying your wrong, but I wouldn't trust it.

I didn't say it before you asked but honestly, I would be there at first light with a kitten in distress e-call and one of those heavy arrows I know you sling around. Double check her city ordinance but it should be legal, and maybe a little fun too.

In an attempt to have an all-around game round in my .223, I've loaded them with H4895, haven't shot a coues with it, but it is very cheap and extremely accurate. It has dropped 10/11 coyotes dead, one took 5 steps and legs went straight and tipped over.

Man I wish I had 3 sets of this stuff, have a few guys in line working out pick up details. I'd consider this gone. Thanks.

A caveat, it was left on the side of my house by an unknown individual and it smells a little bit like cat urine, mostly just the bag which should really be tossed. I called in to see if the PD had it as reported stolen but they said no, donate it. If you can handle the smell, it is pretty good gear for a young lady in need. FREE pickup or I'd be happy to meet within reason. Mesa - Tempe.

I'll also go with awesome! Very! Great job all around!
