Thumb Release (Target Panic Related)

I honestly have no idea on the thumb release but I would confidently guess it's all in your head. -
Thumb Release (Target Panic Related)
CouesPursuit replied to PelaPapas's topic in Bows, arrows, broadheads
Reading that thread was the worst thing that ever happen to my archery career lol. First time I shot after reading it I had so much crap going through my head. I stopped, relaxed, gently and confidently squeezed the release. Don't over think it and make a problem that doesn't exist. Hope you get it sorted out bud. -
and I've always blamed rats!

HUGE Congratulations, Old Buck!! Great and well deserved ram, sir!

Great boots, my non insulated kept me plenty warm in a foot of snow last year with good socks and wax dressing, the 400g should be toasty! Good luck with the sale! Additional thought/edit: I would only buy these boots with the scuff proof toe/heel for hunting in Arizona as featured on this pair. I outwore my pronghorns that did have it. My new pair without are absolutely tore up but still have been a great boot!

Amanda, I don't mean to pester, but wondering if there may be a common solution as I believe a lot of folks enjoy having the classifieds a bit more handy. Currently, 156/791 users, ~20%, are viewing the classifieds. Is there any way to add a link similar to the mock up below? Might make everyone happy. Just a suggestion, again, thanks for a great site.

I understand and appreciate your response. One vote here would be to keep the classifieds in the New Content feed, but I'm happy either way, I'll find a way to work with it, thanks for a great site!

Cool find for sure but man I hate the thought of how those buck went out!!

Bump for a new issue, my 'View New Content' is not picking up any threads from the classifieds. Anyone else having the same?

Very nice. The same 2 birds I have mounted. Banded goose as well. -

In the right habitat they are common. Not very tasty though, they get a pass along my decoys. -
Dream Hunt of A Lifetime
CouesPursuit replied to C.C.Cody171's topic in Rifle hunting for Coues Deer
Great job to you guys. Aside from that TOAD of a buck, I can relate to your hunting experiences and friendship, your wife's support, etc. This was a very good read. It definitely seemed you earned and deserved the whole experience. Thanks for sharing it the way you did. -
pm sent on slik ball head. thx!

Most Prized Waterfowl
CouesPursuit replied to SwampMafia's topic in Small Game, Upland Bird, and Waterfowl Hunting
Haven't hunted with Jim yet but he seems like a good dude. And he has taken some great birds for sure. http://www.coueswhitetail.com/forums/topic/56819-king-can/ That's one of my favorite things about waterfowl, you never know what's going to drop in to the decoys. -
Most Prized Waterfowl

Such a tough question for me! If I had to name one favorite that is commonly found in Arizona it would be bull sprig. Any day you have pintail dropping into the decoys and shoot 4 fully plumed drakes, you know you were doing it right! This was one of my "most prized" waterfowl bags, on a very, very cold day in the desert. 2 pintails aren't pictured as they are wrapped up for mounting. Here is mine mounted before I brought it home. A limit with a few prized divers. A great cinnamon. Still looking for my first wood duck, have seen them, just never under 40 yards. One dream duck I haven't seen in AZ that I would like to is an Oldsquaw. -
Investigating once I found it, It turns out a hiker had found it before I did, actually pulling it out of the silt/water, and left it in the sun to rot! I couldn't believe it. I know it was heavy to pack out for a guy that didn't have a use for it but leaving it in the sun wasn't cool. No pun intended! He uploaded his adventure and photos to Panoramio/Google Earth. Again, very cool find, yours should preserve itself much better too!

That's really awesome!! I was lucky enough to find one while on the job monitoring wildlife catchments. Yours appears to be in much better shape!

When you get set in your blind and/or tree stand, practice drawing back and holding your draw a bit, anticipate where a critter may approach, where they may go. Then, be prepared for none of it to play out the way you imagined!

2015 Dream Season 8 Coues Bucks
CouesPursuit replied to gotcoues's topic in Coues Deer Hunting in Arizona
It has to take a ton of time, dedication and knowledge to cover that spectrum of coues bucks in that wide variety of habitat. Congratulations on an epic deer year.
