I recognize most of them critters, excellent work as always!

The #1 fish worth frying in Arizona. Actual livewell of dinner fish tbh, turbid Roosy in April.
-
Camp setup, that looks like a .22 shooting gallery setup! Sweet.

The elk hunt planning team had a Friday fish fry. We decided in bringing ground deer for a homemade meat sauce so chili got some nice cuts for a pleasant change.

May I ask, were the tigers in Willow Springs but not Black Canyon?

Not much of a sports fan and I can appreciate that too. Nice!

It's been crappie/fishing season and I have my first early archery bull hunt coming up next week. I haven't been into my rifles this year but I'll report back later this fall.

If you ever come through Mesa I have 2 lbs of H1000 for 2lbs of H4895.

Who is normally in Clints Well and any feedback? Are they there every year? Thx.

I'm not too surprised but it is certainly interesting discussion. Mule are easier to kill than coues deer. Deer are easier to kill when it's dry. I suspect more 1-2 year-old deer were killed near a road or water than any other situation. I believe mule deer are in trouble for a variety of reasons and unchecked OTC harvest hasn't been helping. If units can't stay open for a week, they cannot stay OTC. Perhaps coues stay OTC and mule deer go all draw in years to come? Unfortunately many people's suspicions were true. I'm glad heads are no longer in the sand and the numbers are here.

To help answer one question, refer to and meet the legal definition "Bull elk means an antlered elk. Antlered means having an antler fully erupted through the skin and capable of being shed. Antlerless means any elk, any age, without antlers." Keep the antlerless head or bull antlers with some form of flesh and a tag on it in one of the proper places illustrated on the tag itself. Not sure about E Tags yet.

If someone buys this and wants an even trade toward the upgraded version, let me know. Basically brand new replacement that I don't use often and preferred this model for the bottom zipper access when I do. Amazingly light pack for carrying small-medium loads. GLWS.

Agreed and to which I think the wet monsoon played a role. Tough for most archers to kill a coues deer without sitting water or using cameras. This year should be different.

Well done guys. Good luck!

"Recognizing the critical role that sportsmen and sportswomen have played, and continue to play, in wildlife restoration and conservation in the area, the proclamation requires that a monument advisory committee include representation from both the sportsmen and sportswomen community, as well as representation from the Arizona Game and Fish Department. It also directs the monument advisory committee to include representation from the ranching community. The proclamation respects existing livestock grazing permits on lands within the monument. The national monument designation recognizes and respects valid existing rights." They make it sound good.

You boys know how to manage a walleye. Well done.

Bunch of premier members in here!

Nice work. What components and load are you using?

My 2000 450ES has been through an adventure novel. Great machine. GLWS.

Thanks for sharing the report. Always a great time when some fish were caught and all the equipment performed and came home in one piece.

This gun is ready to shoot at a great price but almost too good of condition and location isn't favorable. Thanks for trying. -
I process everything and did just 5-10% fat from a pork shoulder. Crockpot the pork. No fat when I'm making jerky sticks on other game.

My guess is your guess is correct. Not the chicken! Lion is without a doubt the best wild game I've had. The sheep, especially as a brat, was delicious and I don't enjoy "gamey" meats. I love coues deer and taste a clear difference from mule deer.

Missing the walleye described in another thread but this was a rare feast a few weeks prior to that which was worth documenting.
