Right on, NOTAGS. The surface temps surely weren't in a favoring direction. Also, the one guide I keep in touch with up there said the trout stabilized quickly after the floods this year and somewhat shrugged off my same question to him. Unfortunately, I think the Instagram of Horseshoe Bend the last decade put the backhaul on too manys radar for years to come.

Just a few in the same school around 12 mile in my last evening but I would bet they were targetable for the remaining summer. I heard smallmouth were caught 2 weeks later. It was tough to get off the incredible cicada bite but after seeing a number of non-trout schools hugging the bottom in eddies, I had to find out what they were. I dropped a 3/8oz kastmaster and vertical jigged 3 out in the 2-3lb range and lost one that was 5-6lb all in 30 minutes. I'll never forget seeing the gills flare and yellow flash when I hooked my first. That last night my camp ate coues and lion fillet, my last sheep brats and walleye. Wish I had a picture for the dinner thread.

Not being a wise a** but had the best summer bite for competing rainbows and browns in the last decade last summer with those temps in addition to bonus walleye and stripers, wish it was 65F again this year tbh.

Anyone hunting sheep unguided in 41W and wants a head start, send a pm.

Knowing OP and the suggestion, I'd give Jarrod a call. Tell him I sent you also.

Wild conspiracy solely for conversation and of course not likely in the slightest, but what protection exists against the thousands of existing antis with $, especially west coast newcomers, that could join forces after realizing they would save a deer for a little over $100/year? Bonus points? Could never happen?

Yes, but now you have a significant number of yahoos not skyblasting your early season birds everywhere. -

Units with 2+ tags that didn't go to max BP holders in the BP report last year are your best chance.

I have two MEC 302/118 shot bars and I would like to trade one for any 302 bar other than 1 1/8oz or I could use MEC powder bushings #29 and #31. Thanks for looking.
-
Still seeking a different 302 MEC bar other than 1 1/8th for trade. Thx.

With some exception of pump back on Salt-Canyon-Apache, Horseshoe, Bartlett and Roosevelt are all within 1 foot elevation of full water conservation storage. Anyone in the know on Gilbert Rd reopening?

Congratulations, looks like a great hunt.

I'm no pro but I live for crappie every spring. My opinion is yes, absolutely but the turbid water will warm quickly (if we could get some steady warm weather) and there will be a lot of fish ready to go off.
