    Awesome Finished Bird Dog

Ed, I enjoyed meeting you and your wife. Great folks and quality dog trainers. Bird season can't come soon enough! Cowboy is everything you advertised him to be. Nothing like watching a bird dog do what he was created to do. Recommend these folks to anyone looking for a good bird hunting companion.

Get a plott, a fox hound, and a hound from the pound....You will be too old to hunt by the time you ever catch a lion on dry ground with any of them!

    The first pile of blood

Some people just can't resist the urge to put on the robe of self-rightousness and huff and puff and try to blow someones house down. If you weren't there then you dont really know what went down... these folks tried to find the animal. A bull elk can sustain an amazing amount of shock and trauma and keep on going. Of course, there is always the guy that always makes the perfect shot every time...and the animal drops in its tracks. The rest of us are prone to human behavior, including less than perfect shots.

    ASU/ Wisconsin

Pac-12 refs have to be the worst in the business...have been for some time. The fact is the teams on the field did not get to determine the ultimate outcome. Would Wisconsin have made a field goal? We will never know. ASU fans who are suddenly so sanctimonious about all of this...Can't wait to hear you when the shoe is on the other foot. Enjoy the #23 ranking...short lived and probably the best it will be all year. Go Cats!!

    CUSTOM SHOTGUN BARREL

az-shooter...posting this must have seemed like a good idea at the time! folks need to lighten up just a bit...most people would never have admitted a mistake like that, much less post it on a public forum! Nobody is suggesting that this is a proper way to clear the barrel on a gun...however people make judgement mistakes on a daily basis...doesnt mean they are careless slobs that should be publicly reprimanded. I always pray before I go out on a hunting venture...mostly asking the good Lord to protect me from myself!

    THIEFS unit 39

Principal of the school that my 3 grandsons attend told me of a single parent that he talked with. This woman stated that she taught her child to lie, and steal, because that was the only way to get anywhere in life. Pretty pathetic! This is in a rural community with pretty good values. No wonder we are seeing people with no respect for anyone or anything. Then, to add to the mess, we have politicians, celebrities, athletes, coaches, and other leaders who lie, cheat, and break their word and its all justified or excused. If our homes don't produce children with honesty, integrity, and respect for others, then we don't have prayer in this country. We can talk about our illustrious presidents moral deficiencies another time. God help America!

    Mule and Horse packing

What are we looking at in that picture? looks like a major wreck! I hunt off of horses and a mule when i get the time to hunt. My mule is an outstanding rascal. You can do just about anything off of him. 16 hands with good withers. You dont need britchen on him. Every now and then i do want to kill him, but then he does something that wins me back . Last fall I packed a 6x6 bull out on him. Got everything but the horns in one trip. Negotiated some rough country with a lot of blow down timber in it. Got back to the trailer at 1:30 AM. He never missed a step coming out of there in the dark. I wouldnt have taken $10,000.00 for him that night. Probably gonna be packing some out this fall with him. Love wandering the back country on a good animal.

    Bidens son

Wish him nothing but the best in his pesonal health struggles. Disorientation can be caused by any number of things. Lust for power, desire to exert control over others, fear of independence from gov't entitlements, the list can go on and on. Seems to be in the water in state capitols, Washington, D.C., and other places where liberal democrats tend to congregate. Once it is contracted it seems to resist all efforts to remedy . Suggest you boil your water if you find yourself in any of the environments where that malady is known to prevail.
  13. See where Bidens son was hospitalized for, "disorientation". That is a chronic condition in the White House and in congress! Can we hospitalize all of them?

Deer, Bear and ? what is the cat picture, notice the tail and spots

I believe it is a lion. There is a noticeable difference in the body conformation of a lion and a Jaguar. Much like the difference between a quarter horse and a thoroughbred...they are both horses but they are put together differently. Most lions are leaner and tend toward a lankiness that you dont see in the jaguar. Not just the spots that differentiate between the 2. Just one mans observation.
  15. Politicians are not about solutions to problems...they are about votes! Perpetuating power is more important to them than the mess this country is in. This nation has a huge moral and spiritual problem. The solution lies in the hands of people like the ones who frequent this forum. I'm convinced that drastic action is going to have to happen if we want to save our country. Tax revolt...stop giving them our money! Conservative states, counties, and communities need to quit playing the game. It has to start on an individual level and hopefully grow from there. 2 Chronicles 7:14...prayer, repentance, and turning from evil. If enough people will pray, surely God will deliver us from this moronic administration with its arrogant pursuit of the destruction of this nation!

Forest Rd closed due to bears

I fight the forest service mentality on road closures on a regular basis in my neck of the woods. I am convinced that they have forgotten who is paying the bills, including their salary. We taxpayers are routinely ignored when decisions are being made. I recently went thru a forest service manned road block. When the guy asked me if I had a permit to go into that area, I said , "yessir I do...its called the constitution and I"m an American citizen. I own a piece of every acre of forest land in this country! I dont need nor do I ask for your protection. I am going to check on my investment." He looked totally confused and I drove on thru his roadblock. On the other hand, it hasnt been too many years ago, that a girl was mauled by a bear in the mountains above Tucson. Her family sued the forest service and won. There is no limit to stupidity in this country. Time for clear thinking americans to demand to have their rights respected!

    Advice for fixing swamp cooler

If u can bite the bullet on the upfront expense, refrigerated air would be the best fix. When u consider the water, the pads, the pump, the belt, the pulleys, and the poor indoor air quality, refrigerated air is a better bet in the long run. When the monsoons come and the humidity goes up, that swamp cooler just don't cut it! Yes, I own an HVAC business but I don't have a monetary interesting in this one.

    XX

It is somewhat encouraging to be reminded that ," be sure your sins will find you out,". I believe that the arrogant destruction of our God given liberties will be exposed sooner or later by folks like Snowden. The problem is that they can do long term damage before change ever happens. This moron in the White House is the greatest threat to the American way of life since the revolutionary war!

    Some 36B basic questions

Years ago a buddy and me had an early hunt north of Tucson. Mid to high nineties by noon. We hunted hard and covered lots of ground on foot. In February of the next year my buddy was at home in his recliner one evening and hit the floor stone cold dead from a massive heart attack. Autopsy showed that he only had forty percent of his heart that was healthy. He worked for Pima mine back then and had a yearly physical. So much for that. Tragic part was Kenneth was only 46 years old. Left his wife and 2 daughters. My point in this is that if you hunt in that kind of weather, you might want to remember that you ain't ten feet tall and bullet proof....pace yourself and do lots of water. Oh, and don't rely on company provided physicals!

Arizona Black Panther attacking a Doe

Black panthers are the racists....wasn't white folk who named them black panthers ...however we don't need to take everything on here so seriously ....the post is funny whether you are black, brown, tan, or a pale face!
  23. Wondering how the boycott is doing in Colorado. Any noticeable effects or is too early to tell? Hate to see outfitters and guides take a hit, but it looks like serious action is the only way to get liberal politicians attention.

    Wow 2013

If the Devils ever manage to win a championship in anything again...they might get to know how it feels to win a national championship, and then lose the core players to graduation or the pros...and then struggle to rebuild...of course you have to win the big one first...don't see that on the horizon!!!

    George Jones

I don't know of any entertainers that I want my grand children to look to as role models. That being said, George Jones was like many, if not all of us...a real life mixture of good and bad! Loved his music and vocal genius...Allan Jackson knocked it out of the park with his rendition of the classic, "He stopped loving her today", at Jones funeral!! Willie Nelson, Merle Haggard, Ray Price, and a handful of other classic country artists, are getting mighty long in the tooth. Would'nt walk across the street to hear any of the contemporary country artists...not even close to real country music!!!
