I love revolvers, mostly because I seem to be a better shot with a heavy handgun than all these sub compacts. I have been interested in the Taurus 692 because it has a 7 shot .357/.38 +P cylinder, and a 7 shot 9mm cylinder. I like the versatility of the different calibers, and have a boatload of 9mm. I have bigger hands, and have had trouble with the grip length on some of the pocket revolvers. Just wondering if any of you guys have some history with this model, and mostly with the 2.50" barrel.

Michigan Governor Bans Boating and Fishing From a Power Boat
deercrazy posted a topic in The Campfire
You're not going to believe this....under the governors new Executive Order 2020-42 boating and fishing from a power boat is no longer allowed....kayaks, canoes and sailboats are ok, but no power boats. Q: Does boating constitute “outdoor activity” under the new executive order? A: Physical outdoor activity like kayaking, canoeing, and sailing is permitted under the order, but using a motorboat, a jet ski, or other similar watercraft is not. Any outdoor activity permitted under the order, including boating, must be done in a manner consistent with social distancing, and individuals should use only their own equipment to prevent the transmission of the virus through the touching of shared surfaces. Additionally, in accordance with section 2 of the order, persons not part of a single household may not boat together. While some boating is permitted under the order, the provision of boating services or supplies does not itself constitute critical infrastructure work, and businesses and operations may not designate workers to come to work for that purpose. As needed, these businesses and operations may designate workers to leave their home for work if their in-person presence is strictly necessary to conduct the minimum basic operations listed in section 4(b) of the order. Minimum basic operations do not include serving members of the public. The order, however, does permit in-person work necessary to maintain the safety and sanitation of sites otherwise open to the public for outdoor physical activity permitted under the order. All in-person work permitted under the order must be done in accordance with the mitigation measures listed in section 10 of the order. -
I was at Sportsmens Warehouse in Avondale, and unless you have a wild cat caliber, outta luck. They were empty

Terrible situation. As stated before, I would contact an attorney for advice before any further contact with the mother.

I did this when I moved from Maine to Michigan, and traveled through Canada. I showed the paperwork at the border, was sent to the inspection line. before my trip, I was given the advice to remove my bolt and put it in a suitcase, and I also disassembled a shotgun that I had and put parts into different boxes. They liked that and sent me on my way instead of making me tear apart my car for the parts.

Lots of "better than retail" prices on that site, but that is the norm.
-
As long as you have the exact replacement, You should be fine. Might have to have an inspection before power back on.

quit countin, and start to shootin

I use to salmon fish on lake Michigan in a 14 footer with a 15hp motor. you will be fine on any Arizona lake. Like it was said, keep an eye on the weather and beat any monsoon storm to the boat launch.

So I'm not the most worldly guy, but I just watched 3 or 4 hunting shows that everyone was using s suppressed rifle. What is the advantage of that? Most shots were 300 yards or less and then the whispered "hurrah" after the shot. From my past experience, when you shoot, and scream with joy, there ain't nothin left in 2 counties! but who cares, your buck is right where you dropped it in it's tracks. Ok, let me have it.
