Pixman, If all those deer had horns, that would be a heavy decision for the whitetail hunter.

Congradulations to your son! He has joined an exclusive club. Thanks for being the dad that you are and giving your son memories that he will have forever.

Nice rig. I have had similar Sightron scopes, and love them. Good quality optics at reasonable prices.

I would highly recommend Skinny Wimp Moving Co. (855) 313-5518. I moved in March and used these guys. They quoted me 2 hours to move what I had left, and they flat out shook their asses to get me done before there were extra charges. Very nice, polite young men who are trying to make a name for themselves in the valley. Again, Highly recommended.

Compact Rifle . . .Which one?
deercrazy replied to Flatlander's topic in Rifle hunting for Coues Deer
Please give a look at the Remington Model 7. I own that rifle in .243, and I think it is the best handling rifle I have ever owned. It is more expensive than some, but the quality is worth it. Same great quality as the 700 action. -
any idea of a round count? And, what is the barrel length?

I have been lead to believe that they would consider you trespassing, and they laws are tough on claim trespassers. I was in a "club" for a mine claim with a friend, and you had to be screened and sign some heavy duty lawyered up contracts about what you could and could not do. I would investigate further.

Just venting that it seems that even though it is raining, our government sees fit to post a no burn day on Christmas eve, and Christmas day, and New Years eve, and New Years day. Thank you for saving me from myself because I don't want to cause pollution in the rain. Of course no one put out the West Valley compost fire for 3 weeks. The government did not help me with my co-pay as I took my daughter to the doctor for asthma during that fire. And no one puts out the hay fires that seem to plague the west valley. Will enjoy a hot toddy next to the turkey cooker, and thumb my nose at authority!

A young person would get two Christmas gifts! A neat gun, and a lesson on how to conduct yourself for the rest of your life. Way to pay if forward Sherman.

I also have tinnitus, but maybe not that bad. Hard to hear in crowds. That is scary when you can hear a danger warning.

Have you been following me all around the woods? Just kidding. Happens all the time, and when a bull answers, these guys trample all over my hunting area, ruin my hunt, and then wound an animal and leave to find an easier one to track.

FINALLY UPDATED WITH PICS!! Anybody near Mesa airport want to make a quick reward?

very cool big browns. Except your congradulations, you earned them. -
Water tanks would have vents on top. The black objects on top are probably the vents

How Fat is Fat? The All American State of Denial and BMI
deercrazy replied to Healy Arms's topic in Hunting Fitness
This is an important thread if you have a CDL drivers license. They are changing rules, and Body Mass Index(BMI) is going to be really important. They say if you have a high BMI. that you are most likely to have sleep Apnea, and all kinds of disorders. I have all kinds of friends and relatives that are "living clean" and they are full of cancer and having all sorts of medical issues. This fat guy is healthy as a horse, and enjoying life right up until I have to lose 50 pounds to keep my CDL. -
What a fun read. My wife and I both had a good laugh. Thanks for posting!

I seem to recall that some members were selling firearms on this website, and I thought that their price was too high. I therefore did not buy the firearm. I certainly did not expect that if I mentioned that I thought there price was high, that they would give me the gun. People are always going to devalue items that someone has for sale, and they also ask too much for their items that are for sale. there are shows on tv about it... it's called dickering! Personal attacks are BS!

looiking for info on a Thompson/Center Dimension Rifle
deercrazy posted a topic in Rifle hunting for Coues Deer
Saw a commercial for the Thompson/Center Dimension rifle, and wondered if anyone has one, or has shot one? Is it really an MOA rifle when you change it around to a different caliber. This rifle might be just what I am looking for, but I would like to hear as much as possible about it. Thanks, Dave -

I had a Berretta 9mm Crekoted and it looked just like brushed nickel, and was awesome.

I have used the Cabela's 2" on top of a cot for years, and have had great luck with them. They are no good for backpack camping, way too big. If you are looking for one for a cot, then Lv2hnt has what is probably your best deal. I think I paid around $100 for mine.

Looks like two along the top of the ridge line, facing different directions.

What is the most efficient way to learn a new unit?
deercrazy replied to SHeap's topic in Rifle hunting for Coues Deer
I thought you just go steal all the trail cams in the unit, and look at the pictures to find out where the big bucks are. Of course I am kidding! I am still learning my unit of choice, and spend as many weekends camping and goofing off in it as possible. I also ride my dirt bike around, it gets me to areas where the car people will not go. found lots of cool places just poking around. -
Looks like right lane was clear except for 1 truck. Pick up could have gone around on the right. Stuff like this is a "life's to short" moment.
