They are accurate and being able to adjust LOP is a big plus but at 7 1/2 pounds but the time you add a sling. rings, scope and ammo you are looking at 9 pounds for a kid to lug around all day.

You really can't go wrong with Tikka or the 7-08 and it is a versatile round with plenty of factory ammo available. I bought my son a Tikka 30.06 when he was about 14 and he still has it 16 years later. I never bothered to load for it because he could put three shots into a quarter with factory ammo. I had a Remington heavy barrel in 7-08 and I loaded bullets from 100 grains up to 168's and all were accurate.

Yes Kev they are. Typically two per circuit around the counter but if you are using this and go to use a Microwave or Blender at the same time it will trip the circuit. Usually anymore all outlets are on a 20 amp circuit and lights are on a 15 amp.

Put a few in 16A while your at it. Just tell them to leave the sheep alone.

That looks like it would be a pain in the neck to keep clean and @ 1600 Watts ( 14.5 amps @ 110VAC) it would need to be the only thing being used on the circuit.

Yes and people think in Sonora there are lots of them but truth be told there not as common as most people think and there are more bucks that score under 100 taken by 75% than bucks over 100 and not many over 110. It more about the experience and having fewer hunters to compete with but there is always that chance at a real trophy.
