No problem. You can probably sell the Accu Trigger on Savage Shooters Axis Forum and recoup some of the cost. Wealth of info on there too.

Keep the rifle and buy a Rifle Basix trigger they are under $100 and take 10 minutes to put in. You can get them adjusted to under 2#'s. I have an Axis in 243 and put one in it. https://www.eabco.net/Rifle-Basix_c_3745.html

Glad it worked out for you. I was a toe head until just after High School, and still have a few of those moments as I'm turning into a Q-Tip.

Whatever you did it worked. I can't tell you how much I enjoyed the banter between you and your son today. You and your wife have done a great job raising him, he will be a great man one day.

Sean swap out the choke for one more open.

Miss my 10 since I gave it to my son and have wanted one of these. Sure like the 45LC, kinda puts the 44 to shame in the right frame but dead is dead.

Well I think you are one of the brighter light bulbs on CWT but why would you think WD would ruin the die? Lance is spot on about Kroil but the new WD40 Specialist is the best corrosion protectant on the market today and out performs everything else.

Do you happen to have any of the Active all plastic shells? I really like those. Simpler times, like breakfast at Smittys for under $2!

I moved here in 76 and I think the limit was 20 Mourning Dove. A box of shells was like $2.79 at Yellow Front.

Who's getting excited for dove season?

Brine them and it will pull out the blood and most of the iron taste. Don't over cook them. -
Both are like women. They come and go so don't get attached to them. Value is in the eye of the beer holder so to speak.

GOOGLED it and found where it's at.

Re-post this in the New Mexico section you will get more responses. Maybe the moderators can move it.

That stinks. Was it in a pouch or just loose. I was with a friend in 36B years ago just tagging along and he lost his, Bushnell I think. We looked for it all over but could not find it. IIRC it was green so that made it harder to find. I tend to keep mine in the pouch and throw a business card in with it just in case.

Welcome to the Forums. What dates is their hunt?

Glycerin, dirt?

Eww at least second most.

Think of what you would do in their situation. 30 hours is enough time to drive anywhere in the USA if you know how to jack a car and dispose of it every two hours by the time LE gets to put that data together it is days at best. Or they could sit tight for years but they want to play the game for the high.

So breezer and scratch are the same thing?? He posted Breezer then explained scratch fishing unless the picture of fish hitting the surface was supposed to mean breezer.

Courage is not the absence of fear, but rather the judgment that something else is more important.

The proper function of man is to live, not to exist. I shall not waste my days in trying to prolong them. I shall use my time.

What's a breezer and what is scratch fishing?
