Maybe they partnered with Swarovski, but probably Straight Outta China.

"With your comments in respect to Cattle, rotational grazing has been instituted for many years on public lands." Not sure what that means exactly but I can tell you that when I hunted Horseshoe in Unit 29 in the 80's and 90's, Piety Hill area in 33 and the last five years in the Arrastra Wilderness that cattle were always there. Maybe they just rotate the cattle themselves. It would be nice to see them in there for a year then no cattle at all for 2-3 years.

I passed on a white antlered 5x5 bull in 23S on a November archery hunt in about 96 for that exact reason. I heard him running to me in the bottom of a creek bed. He knew I was there and stopped then walked up a hill for 20 yards at 90 degrees to my left between some Ponderosa's and went over and out to the juniper flats never stopping.

I use the same head and like it alot.

Yes I picked it up on Thursday and they had sent me the UPS Tracking number. I came with an IC Choke installed and the Extended Range Hevi-Choke which is ported and in Modified. Also came with a knurled bolt knob which I installed and removed the factory knob and a choke wrench and manual. I had it shipped to Healys in Tempe and was in and out in about 15 minutes.

It does which is the norm for Coues with the left being typical of a 4x4 Mule deer but the tail is 100% Mule Deer.

I've only ever had one Kaibab tag and on opening morning a very tall 4x4 was running across a bowl at about 60 yards. I passed wanting one that was wider or a non-typical and as it turned out he was the only shooter I saw. Don't really regret it though but would have liked to see how wide he actually was.

Oldies are fine if you are traveling and end up in BFE without satellite radio or any radio but I don't get listening to stuff we grew up with 60 years ago on purpose all the time. I can deal with it for an hour or so but after that I'd rather roll down the window and listen to nothing.

Renting big glass is the way to go for just one hunt. 1/10th the price of new and you get the latest every year for the hunt.

Not easy but they are there.

Figured that was just common sense. But maybe not. -

Well I would recommend going out and actually do something like stalk and shoot cottontails and jack rabbits as many times as you can before your hunt. What the sole on your boots is made of can make them more or less quieter. I have a 6 year old pair of Danner Pronghorns with soft soles that are quieter than my pair of Under Armour boots. Sound carries very far in the dry desert air. If you are on the side of a hill and there are people having a conversation you can hear them at 1000 yards no problem. Practice stalking, even if it is with a camera and if a deer sees you move it will freeze for anywhere from 30 seconds to two minutes until it figures the situation out so you will need to do the same or be prepared to raise your gun, get on target and take the shot. Each situation is different. You may have five seconds to pull it off or much longer, just depends on the individual deer. One thing I think happens more often with Coues is that once they decide to leave they will keep going until they are out of site. It's good that you are asking questions but go out and get some first hand experience and build that confidence. -
I used to see a person in a Tacoma size truck on the Beeline towing a triple axle trailer with about a 32' speedboat and wondered how they even got it out of the water.

I think you'll be fine with the 1800.

They put spiders in there and an egg so when it grows it feeds on the spider. If you have ever seen a small black wasp with a blue hue land on the ground and search all around it is looking for a spider to sting and paralyze.

What's the round count on that 11 pound beast.

South of Florence. East of Payson or east of Camp Verde. Anywhere around Congress or St David. West of Gila Bend all the way to Sentinel.

Since it was a 243 and you are going to 06 is the action able to do both what is typically a short action cartridge to a long action cartridge?

That might be the place Big Browns went a couple of years ago. Do a search on here for it. -
You might find some old Leicas for that. The ranch owner in Sonora had a pair this past spring. They were on par with my Sig Kilo.
