Sounds good. I just booked us on the Constitution and rented a couple of Rods with 50# and 2 speed reels. We are taking my sons GMC Sierra which bets better mileage than my 7.3 plus it has a covered bed to keep stuff in. I also am getting some feedback on Bloody Decks which has been a big help too. I was thinking of leaving about 6AM or so on the 4th so we could try and get a decent place to park. Chris 602-499-0610

10mm for grizzly bear defense
PRDATR replied to bojangles's topic in Black Bear or Grizzly Bear hunts
I had the Glock but it now resides with my son. I could bring it up to Payson one of these days and you could shoot it. -
Looks like I got turkey tags coming.

Water quality varies from year to year, in 2016 it was bad so G&F didn't stock it which might also be why it wasn't planned to be stocked this summer, but that can change. Here is the 2019 Stocking Schedule. https://azgfd-portal-wordpress-pantheon.s3.amazonaws.com/wp-content/uploads/archive/1.3-Summer-Spring-Stocking-Calendar_-April22.pdf Safford Ranger District 711 14th Avenue, Suite D Safford, AZ 85546 (928) 428-4150

I would call the ranger district office or G&F to see how full it is. I have never fished it but it should be getting stocked monthly until September. This is last years stocking report. https://s3.amazonaws.com/azgfd-portal-wordpress/azgfd.wp/wp-content/uploads/2018/03/14104708/Spring-_Summer-Fish-Stocking3-09-2018.pdf

Clock is ticking for sure.

Just an observation from the boat reports I have read and Bloody Decks. I have only seen one report where everyone had a fish. I agree they are out there but one report I read said there was a school 1/2 long and wouldn't bite as they were feeding on red crabs.

I remember watching a school of Yellowfin busting bait when we were fishing in Oahu. Just as we turned to get closer we hooked a Marlin which my buddys 18 yo daughter fought and landed. Still not much consistent action but I will probably book us on either the Legend or the Constitution tomorrow.

I only put in for bonus points this year except for a 6A Turkey Tag for my son and I. He's not a fan of fall turkey but we get to chase squirrels and spend some time together.

They probably got some of them from the pond at Boyce Thompson.

Can't bait at all. Put the lick in a spot you want to shoot to.

My biggest "oops" was a squib and forgetting to measure case length resulting in some rounds not chambering. Both 7-08 but not too bad in 15 years of reloading and upwards of 7K rounds. When I was actively reloading I would go to my reloading room and leave the radio and TV off.

Cartridge of the Week: .243 Winchester
PRDATR replied to AZFieldOptics's topic in Rifles, Reloading and Gunsmithing
I doubt you will ever see that in a factory rifle. People who have money burning a hole in their pocket for a custom barrel would most likely jump straight to a 243 AI or 6.5. Dave Tubbs was shooting heavy bullets more than 20 years ago. -
So how the heck does that happen?

SO did you get out a ruler and measure the circles? Not sure how that makes any correlation relevant but the quantity of acres is all that needs to be spoken of.

Kale is no different than collards, turnip or mustard greens. My grandmother made it alot when we were kids in the 50's and 60's with onions and steel cut oats. With people looking for more nutritious foods it is making a comeback other than the ornamental kale you plant to brighten up your place in cooler months. You can find it in every supermarket for the last 15 years.

I don't think he sold it. It was on here for weeks.
