WWII Vets brought back lots of stuff, Samauri swords, grease guns etc. Most of if not all of my neighbors had them and more when I was growing up. Dad had a 7x57 he bought for $35 and "sporterized". People had a better understanding of guns in the 50's and 60's before they were evil. We never had a gun cabinet or safe. Guns and such were in the closet in my parents bedroom.

I have a flyrod but have only tried to use it a couple of times. Not as easy as some people make it look. I have found that when I get ice buildup on the eyes I stick the rod in the water for a few seconds and that melts it well enough to cast.

Stinks about the rifle. I have a 2000 Super Duty and have an alarm, The Club and Revelco. I also belong to the Arizona Super Duty FB page and they get stolen at the rate of one a week. I never ever leave a firearm in an unattended vehicle unless I am eating in a fastfood place and can watch it or getting fuel.
