Not at all, I have seen them on top of hills too. If there are palo verdes they like to bed under them up high as the thermals carry scent to them they can bail off the other side

Good to meet you.

Great little guns. I had a blued model and will take it if Terry doesn't.

Most all of the pigs I have shot (over 12) were taken in the morning except one about noon (1st pig ever), one just before dark and one a few years ago about 4PM. That day I was walking and glassing when I saw one about 150-200 yards up a mountain from about 300 yards away. The wind was all wrong so I have to circle around and come in from the opposite direction. About 50 yards up the hill I bumped a few that were actively feeding and shot one. The one just before dark was in a wash with a few others that ran between two long fingers north of the salt across from Phon D Sutton. I went out after work during the week and ended up carrying it out in the dark to where I parked along the Beeline as the NFS had put up a barrier a few years before so we could no longer drive to the salt. I think the weather plays a big part in when they are active. Last year I was hunting the desert at 3000' and ran into a heard on the move just at sunrise. It was rainy and overcast and maybe 60 degrees out. They can be tough to pattern.

Fantastic that HHJR is healthy. Congrats to you and the great job your wife did.

That smile on your dads face says it all. Congrats to all. I usually don't want to leave when I'm down there.

I have been doing electrical for 40 years and you need someone with a meter who is competent to trouble shoot it. AND, figure out if it was wired correctly in the first place.

I have a Fenix headlamp and also a Fenix flashlight. I got the charger and use the 3500mA batteries. It is a bit on the heavy side which took some getting used to (made out of aluminum) but I love it. It has five intensity settings and a sixth which is dual red led's. They have frequent sales and great customer service. I gave my first flashlight away to a friend who needed one and bought my son one. The on/off failed after a couple of years and it would just randomly turn on by itself. I contacted them and sent it back and they replaced the switch for a few bucks. http://www.fenix-store.com/fenix-hl55-led-headlamp/ http://www.fenix-store.com/fenix-pd35-led-flashlight-960-lumens/ http://www.fenix-store.com/fenix-arbl18-high-capacity-18650-battery-3500mah/

Ordered a 65 yesterday and got the shipping label confirmation, just waiting for it to update. I'm thinking Monday delivery or Tuesday and I'm having it shipped to my work. Still going to keep my big Coleman which has wheels and a slideout handle. It kept block ice for a week no problem last week in Mexico but it was at freezing almost every night and still has ice on my back porch with my Coues in it. It's at least a 65.

Jay Scott Outdoors NEW Website

I heard they took a 140+ buck in Mexico last week. -
I have a 700 ADL in 7 Mag I bought in the early 90's when Remington first offered a plastic stocked stainless rifle. Last week I hunted with a couple of guys who also had 700's and had Bell and Carlson stocks on them which weighed quite a bit less than my rifle and had a better balance. So on my quest to change the stock it dawned on me that I should also go from ADL to BDL. Where should I begin my search for the bottom metal?

I like it, so the kit comes with a 4 round mag?
