Allrecipies has some great recipes and most are excellent. How long did you cook it for? Was it on the low setting?

Congrats Drason, way to go Sean.

My sons 20ga youth model would lock up if he pulled the trigger with the safety on.

Resurrecting this post since my son and I got a few recently. Just how long do you cook them in a slow cooker, he wants to make a stew out of them. I quartered most of them and cut a few in half, minus the ribs. Then I brined them overnight for about 18 hours.

This is the most recent from Game and Fish; SOUTHWESTERN WATERS ALAMO LAKE – Sept. 22 report: The lake is at 4 percent of its 15 percent capacity (1,078 feet). Water temperatures are in the low 80s. Alamo Lake State Park reported decent largemouth bass fishing on in shallow water on the upper end of the lake. Anglers have been throwing top-water lures and brush hogs over points and in the backs of coves. Crappie fishing has slowed, but catfish remains a constant option. http://azgfd.net/artman/publish/FishingReport/Fishing-Report-Oct-6-2016.shtml

GAME AND FISH NEWS Oct. 4, 2016 Arizona Game and Fish Department Fatal ATV rollover a reminder to practice OHV safety PHOENIX – The Arizona Game and Fish Department reminds all off-highway vehicle (OHV) drivers and passengers to ride safely by remembering to always wear a helmet. The reminder comes after an 81-year-old man died when the ATV he was driving rolled end-over-end while attempting to climb a 70-percent incline hill southeast of Meadview early Friday afternoon, according to the Mohave County Sheriff’s Office. Neither the man nor another rider on a separate ATV were wearing helmets. “Our condolences go out to the family,” said Kim Jackson, AZGFD OHV Safety Education program manager. “It is absolutely imperative that everyone wears a helmet whenever they head out on an OHV. Many of these tragic accidents are survivable, but only if you wear a helmet.” There were 28 OHV-related deaths in Arizona last year, according to the Arizona Department of Health Services. Helmets are required by law for all riders under the age of 18 regardless of the off-highway vehicle type. They are also strongly recommended for all riders, regardless of age. In addition, riders should remember to: Wear a seat belt at all times, if equipped. Wear riding goggles, a long-sleeved shirt, pants, riding gloves and over-the-ankle boots. Never ride alone. Be prepared and equipped with a map, a first aid kit, whistle and have basic tools on hand. Stay on designated trails. Take an OHV safety education course designed to teach off-road motorists how to ride safely and responsibly. For more information about the Arizona Game and Fish Department’s OHV program and safety course options, visit www.azgfd.gov/ohv. Did you know? Did you know? The Arizona Game and Fish Department receives NO Arizona general fund tax dollars? We hold the state’s wildlife in trust for the public without a dime from Arizona taxpayers.

I inadvertently hit the female coyote sound. Almost immediately other coyotes were howling from what sounded like just over the ridge to the east of me. I paused for a while then did the same thing again, when they howled the second time they seemed closer. I was glassing hard for them as they howled but couldnt find a thing. After they shut up the second time, I began the jackrabbit sound. How long did you call the stand ? I didnt time it. Maybe I should. Id guess 15-20 minutes first stand, around 30 on the second and probably less than 10 on the third. Im using a Foxpro Deadbone e-caller. I chose the spot because I consistanly glass up coyotes here when javelina hunting. But predator hunting is quite popular around here so Im sure every coyote around has heard a call or two. Minimum 15 minutes.

I remember the first time I walked into there back when I was working in Eager on the new dome. One place I liked going into that is long gone was the sporting goods store in San Manuel.

After I read the article it looks like they will keep the Cabelas going so it may not be so bad after all. But it will get interesting for Cabelas with a Dicks opening up across the street.

Getting ready for quail

All I can say is it's a good thing they can't launch themselves like a flying squirrel. -
Chin Guns and canted scope setups were popular in High Power Silhouette in the early 90's. But shots were only to 500 Meters and Tubbs was a phenominal shot who would typically center punch every chicken.

Project Medium Range Big Game Hammer

Have you looked at what is available for replacement parts like triggers and stocks for both? Both are on par with each other ballistically to the point that performance on game comes down to bullet selection. -
I bet that's a bit of a confidence shaker.
