Who owns one? Do they need constant attention? They seem to be smart as a whip, and maybe smarter than some people I know. I looking for more of a companion then a working dog.

Pretty much all of the Food City stores have had them for a week.

Are 15X's that much of an advantage
PRDATR replied to joeinaz0's topic in Rifle hunting for Coues Deer
Earlier this year I looked through a pair alongside Swarovski's at Ben Avery and could tell a difference. 10's are great, 12's are better, 15's are even better to say 12's are better that 15's is like saying 400 Horsepower is better than 450 Horsepower or three sticks of dynamite is better than five. Makes zero sense, but to each their own. -

Yup, that's about what it looked like. I had two choices, go to Desert Sam, sit there all night and pay through the nose or stitch it up myself.

I don;t have one but Barnet seems to be the gold standard.

Hodgdon 223 Powder
PRDATR replied to Non-Typical Solutions's topic in Rifles, Reloading and Gunsmithing
I had not heard about so I had to look it up. I know H335 has been popular but I liked H322 (both much faster burning)as in my 14" Contender it did not leave little pieces of unburnt powder like the H335 did. -
I have a pair I use around the kitchen on occasion after chopping the top of my finger off one Saturday night a few years ago. Toughest part was trying to keep my son from freaking out as I stitched it back together.

Put a dime next to it and repost

I thought that was 12B West.

The 7.3 was actually made by Navistar and International Harvester and Ford bought them. After 2003 it was no longer offered by Ford here but was still available in Australia.

Amanda that is the same looking rock I found ones in west of Pinto Creek on top of a hill.

I've seen shells like that north of Seligmen and in Unit 24. If you take them to get ID and dated please post it up.

You can always shoot 44 Specials in it.

Are you saying that one of the screws in the base is broken? You say rear sight and also showed a picture of two screws. Is it one of those. How did you come across it, how old is it and what does the barrel look like? Have you owned it very long? Can you post up some target and groups?

Completely Suxs. His toe nail clippings are light years ahead of anything Jim Carey could even comprehend. I hope his soul finds peace and my heart goes out to his family. The guy/gal living out of a shopping cart have it tough and sometimes it isn't any easier at the top. Even Earnest had his demons. Way, way way too soon but I'm glad for what he gave us. I think I just lost a little bit of my being, and it pisses me off.

The upgraded headlights are a nice touch. I have basically the same truck but it has 100K more miles. If it is stock height then the new owner won't be required to have mudflaps. But there is a guy in East Mesa who makes some really nice ones. Good Luck with the sale.

Thanks for all the replies. I created an account with them and will do a work order tonight for warranty repair.

I have a pair of EL 8.5x42 I bought slightly used in Cabelas Bargain Cave in Glendale a bout maybe 8 years ago a few months after they first opened. I use them a lot and I can't find any scratches on the lens's but I am thinking it wouldn't hurt to send them in to be gone through. For those of you who have done this can you tell me how long it took and what they do. Has anyone asked if they would change out the glass for some with the newer coatings that are available and what the cost would be? Thanks in advance.

Lots of small towns that consist of just 3 or 4 buildings. Are you going to hunt north or south of Albany?
