How long have you owned it?

I don't recall. The rifle had been converted to single feed and a few thousands of the lands as it was strictly used for competition.

I shot 168 HPBT Sierra's in my 700. Knocked down steel Rams at 500 Meters just fine. I believe they were around 2650fps.

My uncle is buried in Calverton National Cemetery in NY. He was in the Air Force in WWll and was laid to rest about 30 years ago. My aunt joined him there in the fall of 2024. She was 99 years old, just a couple of months short of her 100th birthday. Me, one of my brothers and one of my sisters were there to commemorate her and attend the service along with my cousins.

Probably when I crossed a fence. Later I met up with a couple of buddys and told them what happened. One said he saw a guy pick something up so we split up and went looking for him but no luck.

TASCO World Class and Simmons were the goto in the 80's. At least Tasco held up to recoil. Once I knew better I moved onto Leupold and Schmidt & Bender in the 90's.

I hate leaving stuff. Left a new folding chair at the Casa Grande range a couple of years ago. A friend left a pair of Zeiss binoculars on a hill in 29 years ago.

It's been a few years but they were usually bunched up in 29 this time of year.

I love gumbo. My brother lives in way south Louisiana so I get to eats lots of gumbo 4-5 times a year. There are lots of variations. Almost everyone has their family recipe handed down for generations. One thing they all have in common is a dark roux. For me I like either a chicken gumbo or a seafood gumbo and like to have some okra in it with just the trilogy. The nice thing is the supermarkets have a whole isle dedicated to spices roux's. Most carry 4-5 different types of andouille. It's all about the roux. He lives right on a bayou so we just walk a few houses down and get fresh shrimp right off the boat for a few dollars a pound. I just bought a 17' Xpress and he picked it up a few weeks ago and took it out on Saturday for a run. I'll be down at the end of February for five days to get the little things fixed and do a few days of fishing.
