To season it should I just soak it good once and let it dry? I'm thinking of setting it up at work in the back parking lot one day next week in the morning and let it have all day to dry.

Easy Peezy. Sure is one heavy SOB, thanks for loading it into my pickup. CWT peeps are the best. Might take it to my office this week and set it up to spray it down and let it stretch out. Anyone who have this tent spray it down with Thompsons Water Seal?

Birds were calling quite a bit during the General Javi hunt up northwest of Phoenix. -

I bought this same scope for my son a couple of years ago. It is a bit nicer than the Zeiss HD I have on my rifle that is only a couple of years older that it. -
Sorry about not responding sooner, my nephew came into town and accompanied me on my pig hunt.

Tagua out of Florida makes some nice leather holsters.

If I have a non-resident put in with me on a draw for say a pig tag how does that work? Do we get put into the Non-Resident pass?
-
Are there statistics on the Non Resident % draw available?

I have been running Nittos for about 8 years and just made the switch to Toyo AT. The Nittos went on average of 55K on my F250. The first time I put them on I noticed they were more sticky than the Brigstones I replaced. The newer Nottos have better siping but I just went with Toyo's for the heck of it. They are noiser but they handle fine and I have 5K on them since about July of last year.

Nice matures pig, congrats. Bigger than the one I got last week.

Ever since W8 upgraded to 8.1 the quote button rarely works for me and copy and paste only once in a while.

Good for you, that's the way to stick with it. 136 yards is a fair poke but I bet you can get closer if need be. Just keep the wind in your face and take your time and you can probably cut that distance in half. Especially if they are feeding, I have gotten to 10' a couple of times but their hearing is very good and it has been very dry out which makes it worse because most of the morning dew evaporates off by 9:30 ish. What setup are you shooting?

I have been watching the weather too, like a hawk even looking at the extended 10 forecast praying it will cool off about 10 degrees. But, that's February for you. I can remember hunts where there was ice in the morning and other hunts where I was out of water near the end of the day because it was so hoy with no cloud cover. My nephew from NY is making his first trip to AZ to accompany me so he is going to be in for a treat as his deer and turkey hunts upstate are on private land and usually out of a treestand so hiking a few miles or more every day will be new for him.

I did shop Pro Ranch few times but I found it to be too crowded and the quality of the meat, specifically chicken was disgusting. I did buy tortillas their and they were pretty good but I got spoiled buying them from the other place. Food City is a regular stop for me and I see them making them but they never put them put warm and I am sure that there are a few variations on the recipe because even when I know they were put out that day because of the condensation in the package they feel rubbery. And I'm talking white corn tortillas which seem to be harder to find.

I know there have to be some. I always bought corn tortillas from the supermarket on Main near Mesa Dr because they were warm and fresh but it closed down a few months ago.

Has anyone hunted the Hopi Hunts? The odds seem higher and I'm sitting on 15 points.

I bought one when they first came out. Nice guns and accurate too.
