Seems like a lot of nostalgia on these old bugs and rightfully so because they are freaking cool! My buddy had one back in the day, all I can remember is how much it smelled like gas inside the vehicle lol.  But I've always thought they were cool. Glws

Some could even get to 80MPH on the highway if the valves were adjusted. Just need to rebuild the top half of the motor every 40K miles.

Healeys  is 125 for a nfa transfer  on suppressors  then your tax stamp is 205 then the silencerco  trust is like 29 bucks I think.  Yep they have a kiosk  to do everything  and the guys will  walk you through.  Make sure to have a atf account  setup first  it's your  digital  signature  for your paperwork.

    Good info Chris.

What does Healy's charge to do the transfer?  Do they handle putting together a trust or only individual forms.  Fingerprints and passport photos done on site?

Here is some info. I haven't done it personally but I'm sure Mike and his staff could answer any questions for you.

From what I've heard and seen there are still 6-8 foot drifts everywhere. I've heard they plan on plowing the road to the Big Lake turnoff, but that is as far as you'll be able to get.

Big Lake is still frozen over.

It's on the south side of Fry boulevard couple doors up for where the old U-Haul place used to be.  I think there's a gem shop right next to it.

I hope he can carve a niche out and make it a go. Always exciting and scary at the same time starting a business. A storefront is a big commitment with with real overhead.

I've been  setting  some of my guns up with  silencerco  asr breaks so I can quickly  move the can around  and still have a break on the guns if I choose  to shoot them without  the cans . I do run some antiseize  on the cleaned threads so it doesn't  carbon lock  on my direct thread can and check tightness  every few  shots . I watched a guy send his new can for a ride down  range when  it got locked  up.  He loosened  the quick  detach and proceeded  to shoot thru it not locked on . Picked it up at the 25yd line . Probably  not good for the baffles  and the outside finish took a beating.

My son and I were at the G&F Expos a few years ago and he paid a vendor a few bucks to shoot a full auto in 5.56 and halfway through the mag the suppressor  blew off and went about 30' downrange.
