I just got done putting a rifle together off of a savage action. I built a 338 edge custom 28inch barrel. The nice thing about savage u can headspace and install your barrel with out a gunsmith. I ended up spending around 1300 for everything including a scope. i can post some pics later going out and testing some loads for the first time tommorow.+1 Let's see the pics!

It all depends on the rut. If the rut is slow, usually I'll do some bugles to locate bulls and light cow calls and spot n' stalk. If the bulls are lightin' it up, i'll do some aggressive calling and call more and try to move in. The hyper hot cow call has worked pretty well for me. Good Luck!

Toads! Got a picturemail today of a giant archery strip buck killed. It says it grosses over 228 and could be a new world record. It's on trophy watch on the bc website too.
