NO NO NO NO NO. No more hunts!!! We need less tags and we need to rotate the hunts. Why is it that archery hunters get first dibs at all of the trophies in the field. The hunts were designed 25+ years ago when 50yds was a LOOOOONG shot. Now there are guys consistently killing at 100+yds. Archery hunts were designed for a stick and a string, guys were shooting 1300gr arrows out to 40yds accurately. Now we're shooting 350gr arrows at 100 accurately. Muzzle loader hunts need to go away as well. They are in the same group, they were designed for muskets not 500yd snipers. You can use one in the rifle hunt. Tags in the "trophy" hunts need to be cut in half, the price doubled, and rotated every year. While I'm at it, once you are drawn, you would have to wait 2 years to put in for it again. Just my $.02

I'm in the process myself. I am building off of a Hall style 2 lug integral bolt with a titanium action as short as an xp-100. with a 23in Lilja #1, McMillan edge, Decelerator, Jewell, and a Leupold 6-18, its the lightest. All of this in a 6.5x47. I only Plan on using it for deer and sheep though. The whole package will be around 6lbs.

I agree that Vortex is not on the F-Class line, but neither is Swarovski! Nightforce and Sightron own that market. When you look at the Spotting scopes on the line you will see %95 of the people are using Kiowa and not Swarovski. It's a totaly different world Yes Vortex glass is not as clear as some other brands, but for the price and customer service they are well above the rest in my opinion. Adam ok, They have it for their adjustment and reliability. Swaro scopes are overpriced, period. You cant beat a nightforce, but this was leopuld or vortex. There are more leupold on any competition firing line than any other scope.
