I have the October hunt starting on the 16th.. I was up there this last weekend and was around rail road tracks and flag stone mines but not sure of the "little" roads I was on but the main road was the 124.. I also was in and around a few ranches, I need to get a better map and info on where I can legally hunt.. from what ive seen the unit is mostly ranches so I wanna make sure that I'm not trespassing

I drew a cow tag there this year and am wondering what the deer population looks like, ive never been in the unit before and will be scouting during the archery deer season... any suggestions and info is greatly appreciated!!

heading up there for the first time ever, got a couple spots im gonna check out thanks to google earth any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated! I am gonna check out the Big BO but not just yet... thank you for your time and help! oh, and I have a cow tag so your Bulls are safe this year! lol

got ours too, unit 10 rifle cow! cant wait to start scouting and then getting to fill the freezer! good luck to all that drew tags!

ok cool,thanks for the info..glad to hear you saw plenty of deer as well, we will have our Bows in hand while we are scouting for those piggies!

never been down there, any help would be greatly appreciated! oh and its my wifes first hunt, finnaly wore her down and now shes all about it!! LOL

looking to get into the " top of the world" area but haven't been back there before...any help on how to get in that area would be great..Thanks

I came across a cow elk on bloody basin road on my way to the Verede river one year. I had to sit and look it for a while to make sure it was real..

I hunted this unit (unsuccessfully) 2yrs ago but had a great time anyway..i want to put in for this unit again and am thinking about hunting the cliffs area but don't know much about that area any info would be appreciated... good luck to all on the Draw!

once again we got NOTHING!

while sitting in a blind deer hunting i wached an owl swoop in on a squirel and miss, that poor squirel didn't come out from underneath that rock for at least an hour..

thats really crazy. B of A just sent me a new card and i didnt put in on my bank card...could be because of the guns and ammo i have been picking up lately..maybe time for a new bank...
