    Lions

If a lousy glasser like me can glass up two lions in a year and get two shots at one,(don't ask) then there are too many lions. In upper reaches of Sierrita Mtns 3 lions were spotted by 3 different hunters within 3 miles of each other on the same day that is quite a few. I actually enjoy seeing them sleeping under a tree, quite different from the few I've seen in a tree with hounds at the bottom. I enjoy seeing that too

    Got My First Buck

Perfect Hunt in my book. I love the feeling of finding a buck during scouting and shooting him during the hunt. Congrats on a great hunt and alot of time spent. Nice job. Houston

What Do you think he scores?

Nice buck, tell the guy who shot it, congrats it is an awesome buck. Is that buck from the area you grew up in?

    Huge bulls in unit 10

Nice job those kind of bulls were hard to come by this year, I would like to see pics of those bulls. Not many bulls can be judged an easy 400 inches and still be to far away to know if he was broken. I hope he is as big as you think he is.

    1 in a million

Pretty funny- I lost a scope cover two weeks ago and had no idea when it came off of my rifle. Today I found it right in the middle of a two track. To bad I couldn't find the big buck I found two weeks ago, maybe in a few days.

    Campfire smoke

If I'm hunting with other people, I have no problems having a huge meal, fire anything else I need for enjoyment. (especially in the winter when it gets dark at 6:30pm and doesnt' get light until 7am) When I'm by myself I usually just crawl into bed. Be a smart hunter and play the wind is where it is at. I personally think the only good that comes from taking so much care of clothes, what you eat etc... as far as scent is concerned is to give you confidence. Confidence is what is important. IMO Besides just hunt the burn areas and the smoke on you will fit in just like normal.

    LONG RANGE SHOTS

My little bro shot a small buck yesterday with my trusty .06 at 327yards. I think it is important to be able to shoot 300+ yards. That being said. I'm an archery hunter at heart, 20 yards is good. :0
