I'm pretty sure not poached and a lot smaller than many thought. I never saw it in person so I am not sure. I heard 315-320

The bull from your facebook post from last year got killed...he isnt around this year.

Now that my career is not related to construction at all I haul my tent trailer, stock trailer and or UTV trailer loaded probably less than 30-40 times a year. A half ton is so much better all around and if you get a decent truck it will handle your trailer just fine with significantly less maintenance and cost. That being said I miss my diesel but my checking account doesn't.

It's what I call a realistic attitude. I've killed as much as and more than many people with my bow and I know I can get it done but due to a thousand unseen problems especially weather and transportation in AK i have to get one on the ground and I'm realistic knowing I may never get to go back to Kodiak. After I kill one then if I ever go back it will be with a bow or nothing..

I'll be going next year first week of November. I can't afford to go home empty handed if possible so I'll have a buddy along with a gun in case I can't get it done with my bow.

Blake helped his BIL Jonny (guy who killed this bull) who has been a good friend of mine for over 25 years. That is one reason I tried to come on CW.com and talk a little sense into Blake in regards to him talking too much. Jonny is my friend. Please avoid slandering or casting suspicion on everyone if you don't have any real proof. (I understand how it looks though) Jonny's bull has not been taken by authorities nor do I believe anything illegal happened with that bull. If I'm wrong I will eat crow, Thanks, Houston -
Great Idea, let it burn to Winslow!

That is downright awesome, what a great project and incredible tribute. So very cool! -
I'm a horse lover and a feral horse hater, that being said until something gets done so that we can manage them I'm ok with them hauling water, it hopefully will benefit the wildlife in some degree. Its crazy dry up here.

Great job to your daughter on a beautiful Tom

Yeah it wasn't worded correctly but I wish it was easier and cheaper to get/own one. I wish everyone hunted with one, it is so much nicer than worrying about your ears.
-
Alex that was pretty cool shooting with that can. I wish we could pass that law where we could all hunt/shoot with one. It made things so much nicer. Great shooting BTW. Houston

I actually don't care too much either way but since we are discussing this topic: The thing that bothers me the most is someone trying to sell said used product for at or near retail prices and keep bumping it up. One or two bumps is fine but not 20 in a week span. My only complaint -

Just rent them when you need them. You don't get out much do you?

That mass adds up I figured I may be low. Great buck!

I think his mass makes him a really big buck( unless I'm deceived)...im betting he pushes 110+ great deer

What's your bug season like? You guys get lots of scorpions and spiders in the houses up your way? How about bees? Lots of swarms up north? Not really sure what to expect. Im sure other that lived there longer will chime in but I lived in 2 different homes up in Payson for 2 years and we had spiders, no scorpions and lots of rodents.

Depends on the unit....all are not equal. Some late hunts can be very doable and even very good hunts...and others i wouldnt waste the gas money. Spot and stalk/ambush is my favorite way, I have a hard time sitting water.

Sad thing is Pres Trump seems to be on board with most of the Dems on this. -
What Set-up for Triclawps?

If I'm the hunter I usually don't pack my manfrotto with 701 head but if I'm helping someone out it is rock solid and not too much weight. -
+1 on draw stops either not put in correctly or forgot to put back in at all after an adjustment. Some have to be taken off to press the bow.

Pretty dang cool! congrats!
