Reading rbryants post and having some down time I decide to share a picture of the fox I killed with a bow. I've had the unfortunate pleasure of calling and shooting quite a few but this is only my 2nd with a bow. I can't find the picture of the first a few years ago. Anyway I thought he had some pretty good color.

Dirty tactics once again from the AZGFD! Now you'll know why to never trust them

Karma is a B.... Wagner is getting some of it back and Owens you will most likely get yours. I don't ever wish bad on anyone, but I've observed that those that build themselves up, fall the hardest. -

My granddad always told me the best way to eat javelina was to dig a big pit, start a fire...place the javelina in a gunny sack place on a piece of plywood. Bury it for a 24 hours over the fire. Then you uncover it all, throw away the javelina and eat the plywood.

Well got a chance to head down with some good friends to Rocky Point. Caught 100's of sea bass, some trigger and small pinto bass and I had the privilege of hauling in 1 of the 2 good halibut taken on the trip. Thanks a bunch guys for an awesome trip and of course lots of good eats. Nevermind the triple chin. its the off season so I gained some pounds

SD- On friday the water was very choppy, we only went out to 11 mile. Sat was a bit better and we went to 22 mile. We didn't make it further this trip, but we had a great time. I wasn't near the scale when they weighed them but they said they were in the mid 20's. They felt heavier to me but I must be losing strength. We also caught another small halibut, less than 10 #. Elkaddict- bait drifting off the bottom.

Congrats on the fox. They sure come running in some time.

Well, since I'm getting ready to head to Mexico I figured i would share the year we had. We had limited tags in our family this year, but we had some great hunts and had a great time. I shot this Mexico buck on the last day last evening after passing up many others broken or not exactly what I wanted. There was 16 bucks on the hillside and this was the dominant buck. Others would have scored better but this one gave me a bedded shot at a long range, and here he is on my wall. Next was my UT buck at 33 yards NM antelope Son's first Coues I had the privilege of helping out on quite a few elk hunts, some big bulls were killed, but none of my family had tags (0 for 3 on cow tags) and so we are having to buy beef for the first time in 10+ years. For many years we use nothing but elk for all our burger. I am lucky enough to be headed to Mexico in a couple days to start off 2013, hopefully we get a few more tags and can be blessed again. Thanks.
