Huge congrats to the Browning Team Great job on some very good looking goats.. -
Congrats on a great looking goat

Hey Mike, I too almost look at this buck every day.. What a stud buck and great job.. way to go
-
J, Nice pictures.. that bull looks real cool. He has pretty good tops and good look at that main beam length it drops down and adds some inches.. He is not a huge bull (looks to be a really big 5x5) is that left side only have 5 points? but even as a mainframe 5x5 I bet it is isn't an inch under 320, his mass is one of the only things really lacking. Nice job, sure a pretty bull.

What an absolute beauty of a buck.. I agree and second all that has been said, one of the best and most beautiful bucks taken.. Thanks for sharing. Congrats. Spot and Stalk the only way to go.. nice.

Hello all hunting in 3c this fall. (below is an unashamed advertisement) My dad recently bought the convenience store located between Heber and Show Low, used to be called Spears but is now Coles Livery. Cole is my dad and a great guy who is trying to give the community a decent place to buy fuel and small amount of groceries. He has been struggling with federal regulations and financing in trying to get fuel back in the area..If your in the area stop by say hi, support the area if you can.. He hasn't gotten out in the woods much this year, but he was born and raised in Clay Springs and has been there and hunted for 50+ years so he knows the area, the roads and a little about everything going on. It is family run business so you might run into my mom or brothers, forgive them as clerks they are trying. They have basic groceries and camping items, and a few snacks, but no alcohol or tobacco, sorry.. Good luck on all the hunts, stop by and say Hi. I'll be there off and on for the next few months with my own archery deer tag, helping on a few elk hunts and a late season deer tag. Any Questions PM or email me. See ya this weekend. Thanks, Houston

Thanks guys.. It is on the north side of 260 almost exactly between Heber and Show Low. MP 326 or 327 I think.

Jim nice write-up I'll have to give it a try.. I've been using the system from Nimrod.. It is like most current systems but yet it doesn't stretch and move while walking.

Wow, what a stud bull. Somtimes we are too wrapped up in score and forget the little things. I love the bull named after family what a great memory.

I shot a small buck in Utah to get things started and drew 3a/3c archery tag..Since I grew up there and my family is still there I've spent quite a few days this summer there. Things are looking pretty good, lots of deer and some decent bucks.. Good luck to everyone

Yeah Utah had a good year this year.. Lots of bucks, some big most small. Most of the tags were Left Over tags that sold out in 5 days or so. Last year it took almost 2 mo if I remember correctly for them to sell out..I got lucky and got my tag on the first day they were avaiable.. Congrats to all of the guys that shot those bucks, some very good deer in there. I also missed a big buck and settled for a last hour buck before I needed to come home, I wasn't sure if I would be able to make it back up.

As mentioned above I think using Radios is the same as using trail cams too me ethically.. I don't use either one, first I don't use radios because I hunt alone, next I don't use trail cams because I just got a job and stopped going in debt for school and can't afford them yet . Anyway congrats to all those who get er done with or without all the extras.. I use a compound bow and a rangefinder and I still think it is more sporting to use a stick and string but haven't done it yet.. Too each there own.. Anyway.... time to leave for opening day in UT. Good luck to all

Good luck Scott, we can't wait to see the pictures... I get to drive to southern Ut. tonight for archery deer to start my roller coaster next few months. Good luck to all

Hey All, we recently moved to Payson we were planning on renting or buying a place out of town that would support our dog Hunter.. We have had a tough time of finding the right place and settled on renting a small home in town.. Dogs not allowed.. Anyone know of someone who would want this dog.. He doesn't have any cattle experience, but is a great dog and companion.. He has been great around our kids, just is a bit protective and is probably not ideal for a family pet.. If anyone knows anybody that is interested please let me know. He is currently at my dad's home in the Show Low/Heber area, but needs to be moved if possible. We hope to have a better place in 6mo, but I can't seem to find a place to keep him for that long.. Anyways thanks. Feel Free to PM me or Call Houston 480-540-4445

Yeah GH I'm a Dentist and working currently at Alpine Dentistry Dr. Rush's former office.. So far I love the area and people. I'll come and meet you soon. Houston -
I commuted that for the last 3 weeks everyday.. Like Jeremy said you have to head southbound at bush highway/beeline for about 2 miles than it detours and sends you northbound.. Only about 5 min detour.. The rest of the highway is pretty open.

25-06 What a great looking pup.. One of the proudest moments of my young life was when I was helping my dad build our home years back and I see this house cat run by and start trying to find a place to hide.. It climbs up at small pinon tree a few minutes later I see my 4-6 month old pup can't exactly remember how old working out the trail.. he works around backtracks and after a few minutes sat himself down under the tree the cat had climbed and started to sing. Very satisfying and alot of fun.. Good luck and have alot of fun.

Jade, the turtle (as it is known) has been handed down to a brother.. It has been running around the Show Low area.. I have a decent truck finally and need to put a sticker on it.. Jade I've been practicing in Payson for about 3 weeks now.. Trying to decide where home for the next few years should be. Houston -
Nice looking litter Jade.. how do those ol redbones work here in the desert.. I've only ran behind walker, bluetick, plott some black and tans and mixes of all those put together, never behind a red..

On this subject.. we just moved to Payson last week and I saw a sticker on a white ford with a toolbox I belive a few days ago..Was by my office on McClane and Airport road. -
+ 1 for Danners.. good boot with a great customer service.. I had the inside gortex lining start to tear on a pair last year.. I sent them to Danner, hoping they could sew them up.. and a few days later (less than 2 weeks) I had a new pair.. That means alot to me.

Well I don't dip.. never have.. and in my current career never will. Take a few looks at people with SCC with half there face excised and it should deter anyone..but I know of a few dentists that still dip, just can't give it up.. My advice is take Bobbyo's advice, come in a get checked often, most dentists will do an oral cancer screening at each cleaning or checkup...sorry bout the rant, but I've seen some pretty horrific stuff.
