  1. Yeah. Don’t know. But I’m pretty sure you don’t want to be the recipient of the verb.
  2. I don’t ever remember TLO running salt up there. He had the opportunity but didn’t recognize it for what it was if memory serves.
  3. Many of the current salt sites were well established before Russ started re-suppling them. Are these sites exceptions? Or if I simply add the latest block to a site is it now mine?
  4. Yes I have. At one time I could have driven you to nearly every one of them. Did you a actually watch the video, or at least the part where he had the OnX map and talked about the natural pathway from the park to the salt?
  5. I believe that much of the salt was put in strategic locations on the buffs natural routes. So yes, the Buffalo would come to that spot with or without the salt.
  6. I’m confused. It’s pretty clear ethically it’s first come first serve at a hunting site in AZ. It’s not illegal to put a blind where one already exists. Someone beat you there and you started an argument rather than saying “good luck” and leaving. Are you actually blaming your guide? Why didn’t you just leave rather than argue with the first one there? To me, at least, you are equally culpable. You could have behaved very differently and changed the entire outcome. You are not taking any responsibility. Man up.

    A Friends Desert Tag

A lifelong friend finally drew an Arizona Desert Bighorn tag after over 45 years of applying (never, never miss a BP). He managed to get it done on the second morning after a week of scouting. His son and his GF were with him. I got to spot it and watch. The Stats: RH 36-1/2 LH 38 Bases 15 ½ Green Score 175 (the broken horn cost him over 3” but who cares! G&F score 172-1/4 (pretty dang good for two newbies learning!) 6.5 CM (I hate it) with 127 Barnes LRX going 2960 fps at 488 yards. One heck of a sheep. I couldn’t be happier for him.
  8. I am in no way condoning Chad, but.... If Zach would have been ethical and said "Have a nice day" then left rather then confront the hunter who was there first and start an argument none of this would have happened. Then he chose to confront and video Chad. It kinda establishes his character doesn't it? Maybe both are wrong?

    NL Pure 12s in stock

I’ve put the 12ELs next to the 12pures. Personally I’m selling my ELs now.

    A Friends Desert Tag

One year they lost his BP. This was his first year as max. we were applying long before the BP system.

    Daughters sheep hunt

Its important to engage our kids and keep them hunting. One of the great things about the AZ System is a chance of anyone getting a tag. I know of a 12 YO girl that got a Desert tag a couple of years ago. That is very exciting. Its too bad you don't feel the same way. Its really too bad you missed a few years and aren't a max point holder. BTW did you read the story of my daughters hunt on here when she was 20. It was, and will always be the most memorable hunt of our lifetime. Best wishes Mike

My Daughters 13A hunt from years ago….

I just saw this since I was on a sheep hunt with a life long friend we probably saw 35-40 rams bigger then my daughters in 4 days of scouting and 2 days of hunting. He killed a mid 170’s Congrats on getting a great ram. they have combined 13A, 12A, and 12BW and only have 1 tag now. The G&F said if that tag were turned back in they wouldn’t even reissue it. The herd on the Colorado River through the Canyon is doing fantastic now where it was down 10 years ago. Hopefully some of those can help the 13A herd. im glad you enjoyed the story. It Was easily is my most memorable hunt.

    Swaro CL Companion 10x30

Free bump for a great price
  15. This thing has been bouncing around in my gear bag for several years. I’ve literally never used it once. It’s got to go. $50 + $10 if shipping. $25 + $10 shipping if you tell me it’s for a youth hunter. Mike 928.607.6327
  16. Selling for a friend. These are in excellent condition. We compared the Highlanders to the Swarovski BTX/115mm. We were looking at leak from 3 to 7 miles until dark. The Highlanders still rule. There was a distinct difference in optical clarity and less heat waves with the Kowa. This set up is about $6,000 most places Did I mention they are Flouride! I’m in flag but will be going to Tucson and back next week. Mike 928.607.6327
  17. I’m thinking you are about right. you are right about them being heavy. But man are they nice if you are close to the car. We had the Highlanders, BTX/115mm, BTX/95mm, and Swaro twin spotters on a hill one evening. The Highlanders are still the best. Although the twin spotters seemed similar I’d give the edge to the 115. And the BTX is more friendly for multiple users.

    FPS Data

Do you trust your chronograph readings? Personally with the data you listed I can’t see any reason to not trust it. If you trust the data the low value was a real number that affects your ES and SD…statistically you can’t simply through the low value out without a really good explanation of why that data point is bad. the totality of the data represents real world numbers. You should use all of your data and use it as your velocity. You might not be happy with it but you’ll be better off using the actual numbers rather then trying to fudge them. If you don’t like it work up a different load.
  19. I bought these to make 6.5 PRC brass out of them but they shipped my back ordered PRC brass before I could get around to it. I’ll ship on your dime. Mike Flagstaff 928.607.6327
