I once shot a big yote at 50yrds with 30 06 with wiinchester balistic tips... 150gr I believe........ hit him smack center in the chest and there was no exit at all. granted he didn't get up but that bullet just shattered on impact.......... shot another 1 broad side and poked a nice size hoe on exit. same results with the .243 broadside with the 55gr ballistic tips just tears um up... frontal shots no problem. I know you cussed at least under your breath... LOL! James

no this is 1 reason why why they will try to legislate pickin up sheds. whether this idea is out of greed or pure laziness....... who are you to say when the horns should come off? sounds like harassment of wildlife to me which is against the law. the other reason is off road driving...................... get off your machine and walk. my brother inlaw works at a uppitty resort and they throw away their pool lounge chair pads when they get a little stain and they work great for me... the come with a zippered cover... prolly has some freak on it but I sleep in my bag... LOL! I used to use a queen size memory foam inside my suv and it worked great but only lasted a couple years without a quality cover. that was $100 when I bought it. James

I play my sound for about 10-15min then sit in silence for about 5 min or so and switch sounds. I call a little longer later in the season maybe 30 min. If I'm calling coyotes then I will almost always switch to pup distress or canine distress, the females can't stand it and have to come have a look. if you're callin in thicker stuff like brushy bottoms or rocky areas where there tends to be more fox or cats I like bird calls and sqeaky type calls and I let it go for 15 - 20 min. then sit in silence and switch to a different sound... lookin for something to trigger their instincts. for me fox show up quick and cats will hang up and watch to see if they can see what is really going. you can get there attention with a simple turkey feather on an old arrow or dowel rod and tie it on with fishing line, I use a swivel so it spins in the breeze. try not to switch sounds too much they will wise up quick. If they get to yippin and won't come turn off your caller for a couple min and the try pup distress. some of those barks and howls they do when they figure you out.. you'll have to learn the different types of barks and howls they do. It's mating season now so they will be reactive to coyote vocalizations. female whimpers female howls and even challenge howls. everyone has their own methods and you too will learn what works and what doesn't, alot of trial and error. it's a lot like fishing... figuring out what the bite is for that day and certain lures work better than others at certain times. hope this helps. no need for 00... #4 is plenty. I have read that 00 can damage an extra full choke, but I'm no expert. what I read said it could cause swelling of the threads and or strip them out. I use a modified choke and sometimes full choke and I am golden out to 45yds with 3" #4 buck. Ask standman or twowindy what they reccomend... they put a bunch of fur on the stretcher! James

I haven't dealt with them on their e callers, but have with their hand calls and have always had great service.... actually spoke to wils' brother I believe and he said send it back and we'll get you a new 1..... 2 weeks later I had a new raspy coaxer. also the same results with the still cottontail call. this was before they blew up and started buying others products so I may be way off, they may be too big for their britches.... haha, I used the word britches, I am gettin old!
