Did they whack the tree down or cut your box? Thieves suck! My wife has a Coues hunt up there..... I was gonna move my cams up there after archery.... seen some big bucks last year. I hope they get four flat tires and have to walk in the 108 deg. and pass out and the buzzards pick them apart like an elk calf stuck on a fence! James

( That's putting it "G" version ) I had an encounter a few weeks back and did not have a gun... never had a visual on the bear but could hear it huffing. I got the heck outta there! Good times! LOL! the 3 bar wildlife area ( walnut canyon enclosure ) should be an excellent example of predation! Put a fence up and keep out the deer killers and those heards #s will increase. I think last time I was there there still are collard deer there and there were students from Texas doing a study and surveys on them. It seems they addressed the predator issue a little by rebuilding 1 of the tanks up there and allowing night mnt lion hunting in that area, so they obviously know it's an issue. I don't have a problem with the "bait ban" but it won't stop there! I agree, if it is about ethics and fair chase then say so!! It would be cool to be a fly on the wall behind closed doors of the big wigs at the G&F office... we can speculate all we want on what there agendas truly are but unless we here it straight from the horses mouth it's only speculation and that drives up the price of oil from what they say. James

+1 If it had legal antlers it's legal game! I did see a program someone posted on here a while back there is a heard of whitetail deer in Minnesota or somewhere up there and they are all white and those are protected there. James

I was there but he glassed HER up... It was a doe with one other regular colored doe! Pretty cool! James

+1 on putting it low. I had 3 cameras set up since april and I have checked them 3 or so times and a couple times I had operator error in the set up! No pics really sucks, but on the other hand my camera was still there! It happens! What I have found is to set it and let it go into sleep mode and then trigger it and let it do it's thing then shut it down and check the photos for height and ceterering on the trail or area you have selected. Then if all looks fine lock it up and hope for the best! If you do hang it up higher make sure you angle it down quite a bit... doing the tests on sight will help insure you have what you want. Not sure. I'm part of the Arizona Animal Control Association. Thats how I found out. Nice pics by the way James. The bear I was keeping an eye on left the area and a rinky dink one showed up. I've seen a few rabbits with some nasty parasites...... thanks! still have a few bears coming in. my brother in-law has bear madness going on! he sent me about 20 photos of bears! still trying to figure out exactly how many he's got going on... the recent rains should send some of them back into the canyons. We're going to try to glass up a couple on the opener... In his other spot he had 1 bear lay down in front of his cam and chill out for a while! Crazy bear action this season! James

depends on the bugs that year and or if sitting a treestand or brush blind or pop up blind. A couple years back by 10 am I was in my underwear dripping sweat! A year before that was a bug suit and underwear! Pop up blinds are great for keeping the bugs out but suck for ventilation! James
