I was thinking the same thing... there seems to be a lack of food where I am at due to no rain! James

checked the cams this weekend, had 3 out and 2 of them were nadda. that's 2 times in a row! I moved 1 and pulled the other! checked to make sure it was triggering and it was but seemed slower than usual, oh well at least 1 spot turned out ok. It is so dry out! the water holes are going fast! James

not always so. my brother in-law watched a bear run across the road.... 30 min later a truck came through running dogs and they never hit on the scent. I thought the same until he told me that..... James

I called the pleasant valley office and the lady said if you go south of young you should be ok but I would call to verify. James

I talked to a gent a few years ago that hunted racoons at night and he said he would call the game warden personally so when he got a call in the middle of the night that someone was shooting he wouldn't be alarmed. you may want to get a phone # of the warden in the area you'll be hunting to give him a heads up. James
