you are brave! when I was younger maybe.... scary stuff! lol! I guess I'm a wuss in my elder age of 40 considering I used to base jump! lol! but 25-30 ft is where you want to be in most situations. James

no guarantees even with cams out but it sure makes you feel better when they are hitting it regularly. not as many people playin in the desert when it's 110 degrees so I would give it a shot. good luck! post up some pics when you get it going! James

went on to archery talk and found out what I was looking for..... cool rest but I will probably opt for the trophy taker smack down. James

TJ, with all the technology today ........ dude seriously stop what you are doing right now and set a reminder on your phone for next year, before it happens again! Maybe wear a rubberband on your wrist for the rest of your life. I'm beginning to think you like the dog house! lol! Shame on TJ! I wish you well my friend! James

hahaha! that's funny only cause I can relate! I definitely have to watch myself before a hunt! I once glassed 3 nice coues bucks when takin care of business! blew the stalk after though! haha! we dubbed that spot the shitty spot haha! You glass while taking care of business? I'm not that good an multi tasking. not usually but had a good view and saw some shiny things moving so I had my binos on and picked them up and bam 3 nice coues bucks just feeding maybe 500 yds out. James

the 1 I have is rivers edge and cost about 120$. It's only 16 ft.... just not high enough. the deer seem to look right up most of the time. I get board and sleepy with no action so sittin all day is hard unless I'm in a blind. I did see a video where they stuffed the ladder stand in a cedar tree and they were concealed pretty well. I think if the trees are right with enough foliage to conceal you you shouldn't have a problem. I would go with the tallest you can find. James

that's pretty freekin sweet! James

that"s why they don't recommend mechanicals... use fixed! slick tricks work good... but whatever your fixed choice is.... the mesh is a bonus in concealment especially reaching for your bow. James

I spoke to 1 DPS office that had been on 78 road kill incidents in 1 year. This was in the late 90's near springerville... not sure how much area he covered but that was a lot! James

good job! looks like a nice coues shed on the chair...? James

they also made a mistake in the reg book. under legal method of take it lists all weapons but all the hunts are limited weapon shotgun shooting shot or archery for turkey. a while back they sent me a landowner survey but I do not own land. stuff happens i guess. James
-
that is pretty cool! james

no deer but a couple nice bears and I think this is the same mountain lion I was getting for a couple seasons now. Land owner near hear said there was 3 of them running around and they killed 2 of them. This 1 is starting to get big. James
