North peak is in 22s, by a mile or two. Anything south of the east verde is 22s. I’m not thinking of hells gate. You wouldn’t be the first person I’ve caught in 22s with a 22n tag. while I understand the wilderness area extends to the north a bit, the mountains themselves are completely in 22s. I believe the official range of the mazatzals runs from north peak to 4 peaks, none of which is in 22n.

Mazatzals are in 22s, so….don’t go there.

I steered clear of the .338 lapua solely on the cost of ammo. It was spendy when ammo was cheap. otherwise, I would have bought one. I was looking at the savage 111 long range hunter.

Why not kill the bear, or better yet, open grizzlies to hunting? If a bear ate my family member, I’d kill him if he was the last bear on earth. grizzlies should be available to hunt, anyways. Populations are recovered. We need to work on this.
